Chapter 38: Chicago Visits

Punk, Bella, Colt, and Jade sat in Bella and Jade's living room rewatching Punk's historic win over John Cena at Money in the Bank back in 2011.

Punk currently had his arms wrapped around Bella, who had her head on his chest. They sat on the love seat facing the tv. Colt and Jade sat on the couch. The two of them shared a blanket.

Punk had the biggest smirk on his face as he got to relive arguably the single greatest moment of his entire life, and Bella couldn't help but smile at him and shake her head. She remembered watching this very match in this very room, live almost a year ago. Back then, she wouldn't have been able to imagine being so close with him, but look where they were now. 

Punk began to stroke her hair as he silently sang along with the fans on the screen, "John Cena sucks," to the tune of John's entrance music.

The bell rang on the tv and Punk noticed Bella perk up. He thought it was pretty adorable. As they announced his name, she sat up and crossed her arms with Punk on the screen and mouthed, "C....M.....Punk!"

He laughed at her as her smile returned, "Jade and I watched this match together last year before the afterparty. I've watched it so many times since then."

"Have you?" he asked with that same smirk on his face.

"Mhm."

"Then you've got good taste," he said as he pulled her closer to him, planting a kiss on her forehead.

"I've got chills already!" Jade yelled from the couch.

"Same here," Colt agreed.

The two men in the ring began to feel each other out at the start of the match. Punk had this intense look in his eyes that gave Bella butterflies. 

"You can't wrestle!" the crowd chanted, causing Punk to chuckle.

Bella couldn't stop looking at the man next to her. He was so damn attractive.

"Oh my gosh, I forgot something!" Bella yelled, getting up from her seat, and running upstairs to her bedroom. Punk gave Jade a confused look, and she responded with a shrug, not knowing what her best friend was talking about, until not even thirty seconds later, she returned downstairs in her "Best in the World" shirt.

Punk did a double take and his mouth dropped at the sight of her in his shirt. The egomaniac inside of him was going crazy. He didn't know how he was supposed to keep his hands off of her while they finished the Payperview.

"Get over here!" he mouthed, causing her to giggle and return to her position on the shared love seat. 

He grabbed onto her even tighter than before and resisted the urge to kiss every inch of her body right then and there. Just watch the match, he reminded himself.

Punk had Cena in a headlock on the screen and Punk in the chair had a growing grin on his face. Bella found it so funny how into himself he was.

The crowd began chanting, "CM Punk" again, and everyone in the room was so into it.

Bella looked up at him as he slid his tongue across his bottom lip as he concentrated on the screen. Bella felt the butterflies return. Get a grip woman, she reminded herself.

Punk hit a DDT on the screen and he mouthed "Nice," to himself, causing Bella to crack up.

"What?" he asked.

"You're just funny," she said, messing up his hair.

He swatted her hand away before they both turned their attention back to the screen, where Punk had just tossed John out of the ring. He continued to dominate John outside the ring, hitting him with a crazy knee drop to the back of the neck. He rolled John back in the ring and pinned him for a two count.
