Chapter 54: HBK and NBT

August 6th (2 days before Bella's birthday)

Bella was working out with Shawn Michaels today. They had been texting and he had already given her some pointers. He was awesome. He really believed in her and thought she was the next big thing. Working out with him was truly a dream come true.

"I can't wait to watch your special on ESPN," he told her as he passed her a towel.

"Thanks," she smiled, "I'll be seeing it for the first time today."

"Really?"

"Yeah. I hope they don't make me look crazy," she laughed, though there was some truth to her statement. She feared that the WWE executives who were in kahoots with ESPN wanted her to be portrayed in a specific way, and modern day editing was a different type of beast. If they wanted to paint her as a sociopath with the film they got, they'd probably be able to find a way.

"I'm sure you'll be fine," he told her, "You're one of the biggest stars in WWE. If anything, they'll just try and capitalize off of your momentum."

"I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case," she chuckled.

The two continued bantering as if they were old friends before Shawn said he wanted a "selfie for twitter."

"And you call yourself an old man," she shook her head, with a grin on her face, "You're so hip."

Bella and Punk were about to watch Bella's ESPN Feature, called Bella Fury, The Next Big Thing for the first time on her laptop.

"I'm so nervous," she told him before she pressed play.

"You have no reason to be," he wrapped an arm around her.

"I just. I was really vulnerable. I hope they didn't use any of that against me."

"You were so genuine Bells. They couldn't possibly make you look bad," he assured her, "and if they did, you can tell them to make changes."

"It's two days before it comes out."

"You could always delay the release date. It's a secret project, remember?"

"You're right," she told him, as she pressed play.

"I always am," he smirked.

Bella Fury Next Big Thing

Her entrance music began to play to open up the feature.

A few shots of Grand Crossing, then Hyde Park showed up on the screen. Then a clip of Bella working out.

The first shot was of her on the couch from the first interview.

"My name is Arabella Lavigne. I'm 22 years old. I love to wrestle, and I don't like being told what to do."

Immediately, a clip of her sticking her bloodied middle fingers up at Tyson Kidd popped up.

"Not too long ago, I won the Divas' championship..."

Then the last two minutes of the match played, followed by her brief in ring celebration.

"That championship not only confirmed that I was the best in the business, but it also assured that I would get a match, more specifically a title defense at each Payperview, which was a really big deal to me."
