Geno made his way to Outer's office, his mind swirling. He was doing this for one reason and for one reason only. That reason was to ensure that Palette wouldn't have to go through hell again.

Geno made it to the carefully crafted wooden door and kicked it open, not caring about the damage. Outer tiredly stared at him, "Geno? What's wro-" Geno glared at him, "don't tell me what's wrong! I want to know what's wrong with you! What gives you the right to abuse a twelve year old!?"

Outer stared at Geno, a chill went down his spine, "I have no idea what you me-" Geno slammed a tape on Outer's desk, "have no clue!? That's all you have to say!? This kid is in the medical room suffering because of a wound you inflicted on him!"

Outer stared at Geno, "I don't abuse Palette, Geno. Where exactly did you hear that from? He just likes to disobey orders. Theres nothing wrong." Geno growled, "I'm pretty sure if it was just him disobeying orders he wouldn't have been sitting in a puddle of blood and tears for hours."

Outer stood, glaring at Geno, "what goes on between me and my workers dosen't concern you Geno." Geno grabbed Outer by the collar and pulled him closer to his face, "it does concern me. I saw Palette on the floor almost dead today! He is a child, he doesn't deserve this kind of treatment! If you think this doesn't concern me then your an absolute fucking idiot!"

Outer pushed himself away from Geno, "I don't see what the big deal is here. I've never touched Palette before, those wounds are ones from before he came here."

Geno's eye burned red and blue, "I'm pretty sure if you've never touched him then there wouldn't be damn bruises all over his bones!" Outer twitched, sweat formed on the back of his neck, "Geno I have done no-" Geno punched Outer in the face.

Outer fell to the floor, cupping his bruised cheek, "Geno what the hell!?" Geno exhaled sharply, "touch the kid again and your dead. Your lucky I didn't bring Reaper with me."

Geno turned on his heel and walked out of the room. His anger kept rising the more he thought about it. This was so stupid! Why couldn't Outer just see the simple problem?

Dust appeared from around the corner, scaring Geno. Dust smirked and crossed his arms, "how'd it go?" Geno sighed, "let's just say if he does it again he'll be regreting he didn't listen."

Dust nodded and walked away. Geno huffed and made his way back to the medical room. He had three hours, three hours to get Palette fixed and take him away from this awful place.

Why you ask? Well it's because he's never seen his eldest son so happy before. He knew that Palette meant a lot to Goth, and he would do anything to keep that happiness.

Geno stopped before walking into the room Palette was in. He could hear voices. Geno opened the door to see Goth and Ink. Ink turned and smiled at Geno, "oh hey Geno! I was just talking about you!"

Geno gave Ink a look while walking over to the wires that were connected to Palette. Goth gulped, "he'll be fine right? I-I mean I wouldn't doubt your healing! I-It's just that-" Geno smiled at Goth, "he'll be fine. No need to worry kiddo."

Goth nodded and looked at the ground, seeming nervous. Ink looked between the two and shrugged, "I'll head out. Probably need to make sure Error hasn't decided to kill someone." Geno snorted while unhooking one of the wires, "the only one he would kill would be Fresh."

Ink had already left the room. Geno sighed and looked at the heart monitor. Palette's soul was beating at a steady pace so it would be alright to take him off the support. Geno unhooked the last wire and looked at Goth, "he might not wake up until later, you can stay in here if you want but it'd be boring." Goth shook his skull and looked at Palette, "I-I'll stay here..."

Geno shrugged and left the room. Goth took a seat next to the medical bed. Goth watched as Palette continued to breath, as if he was expecting him to stop at any moment. The ghost that had led him to Palette appeared next to him. Goth silently gasped, "you're back..."

The ghost smirked, "yeah I am. Guess I should probably tell you who I am now." Goth looked over at the ghost, "o-oh! You don't have to...I suspected you knew Palette somehow so I didn't question." The ghost's smirk grew wider, "your pretty smart. I'm Cray, I was a former friend of Palette's until I was murdered by someone."

Goth looked disturbed. Cray grinned, "what? You look like you've seen a ghost!" There was a silence before Goth broke into a fit of giggles. Cray looked proud he got someone to laugh. Goth calmed and looked at Cray, "that was horrible!" Cray shrugged, "Palette always said that about my jokes as well, they annoyed him."

Goth looked at the ground and smirked. He was quite amused by the fact that he was carrying out a conversation with a ghost. Cray sighed, "looks like he's waking up. I'll take my leave, don't think he wants to see me quite yet."

Goth watched as Cray dissapeared. Palette groaned making Goth's attention snap to him. Palette slightly sat up and cringed with pain, "ow.....wait. Where am I?" Goth gulped before speaking, "your in the medical room. You've been out for nearly two hours." Palette forced himself to sit up and face Goth, "really? I didn't think I was that bad!" Goth gave him a look of confusion, "not that bad? Palette some of your bones were misplaced! How is that not bad?"

Palette shrugged, "guess I was so used to it I didn't notice!" Goth sighed, "I have no idea how your being so positive about this. Someone was hurting you and you never told anyone!" Palette looked down, he looked uncomfortable, "I didn't want anyone involved in my own personal mess. Its selfish."

Goth stared at Palette like he was crazy, "selfish? Palette there's nothing selfish about telling people that your being wronged!" Palette sighed, "I'm sorry Goth. As your friend I should've told you, but I didnt. So I apologize."

Goth exhaled, there was absolutely no way he could be mad at someone this polite, "you don't have to apologize Palette...you just did it so I wouldn't worry." Palette smirked, "thanks Goth."

A ghostly groan came from Cray who appeared again, "gosh you two should just kiss already, I'm tired of you always friend zoning each other. As a shipper it's annoying!" Goth's face exploded with purple and Palette choked on air. Cray burst into a hysterical fit of laughter. Palette glared at Cray and cleared his throat, "on a side note! Goth your leaving soon, you should go ahead and leave me be. I can't go with you."

Goth stood, "no. I'm not leaving you here, I'm pretty sure everyone else would agree with me too! You're coming with us Palette whether you like it or not!" Cray smirked, "now this is the action I need! I really need some popcorn or something!" Palette shot Cray a look. Cray raised his hands in air, "sorry, sorry. I ruined the moment that's on me!"

Palette shook his skull in disappointment before looking back at Goth, "either way Goth, I'm not capable of walking." Goth stared at him blankly, "you haven't tried." Palette sighed, Goth was definitely going to be the death of him.

Palette unwrapped the white blanket from around his bandaged body and placed his boney feet on the floor. He placed his weight on his feet and stood up, only to fail miserably and topple over. Luckily Goth was quick to his side and grabbed him before he could fall. Goth smiled at him, "see? You can walk! Just with my help!"

Palette sighed and smirked. Together the two exited the medical room. Palette had most of his weight leaning on Goth. Goth didn't mind seeing as Palette didn't weigh barley a thing.

They both gasped as Geno spotted them. Geno gave Goth a look, "why is he out of the medical room? I don't think he can walk.." Palette grinned, "nonsense Mr. Geno! I can walk! Just still getting used to it!"

Geno rolled his eyelight and walked off. Goth sighed with relief, "thank goodness, thought he would be mad.." Palette smirked but then frowned, "hey um Goth? Where exactly are we going?"
