Ink stared at his phone with disbelief as he stared at the message that was just sent to him.

It couldn't be possible, it isn't possible. Yet the message was on his screen.

After all this time, the message was still sent. From the very person that died 10 years ago, the very person that died saving him.

This had to be a trick, a cruel prank some young kids were playing on him, it had to be.

But it seemed like it wasn't, it was worded as if his friend was speaking to him, he still wouldn't believe it.

Ink went through his contacts and found the person he wanted, that very person had also not spoken to him in 10 years.

Ink began to type and finally sent them the very same message he had received, hopefully Dust would be able to figure it out.

_______

Sprinkle laid in the grass as the wind blew around him.

He had gone outside in hopes to find Newt, but he couldnt so he was laying in the grass staring up at the sky.

Sprinkle sighed and smiled to himself, no matter how much he hated being isolated he loved this kind of life. It was peaceful.

Nothing to get in the way of how things were, no change, that's what he liked, no change.

Sprinkle sat up upon hearing a crunch of a stick, he stared at a figure that was staring back at him.

The figure was bleeding, and was clutching thier arm that was wounded. They wore a grey shirt and black pants. They also wore faded blue boots, but only one thing stood out to Sprinkle, the blue scarf around thier neck.

It seemed so familiar to him but also so fuzzy, the figure walked towards Sprinkle.

The now seen skeleton looked down at Sprinkle, "um pardon me, but do you know if anyone lives here? Preferably by the name of Dust"

Sprinkle was confused and that scared him, "um yeah, hes inside though"

The skeleton nodded and walked towards the house, Sprinkle stood up and watched as the random skeleton entered his home.

He couldnt hear anything but muffled talking, he swore he heard someone crying.

Sprinkle walked inside and saw the skeleton in blue sitting on the kitchen counter while his father wrapped the skeletons bleeding arm.

The skeleton was smiling brightly at his father who looked equally happy. There was obviously something Sprinkle was missing.

Sprinkle walked into the kitchen and looked over at Dust, "dad? Do you know this guy?"

Dust snapped out of his trance and looked over at Sprinkle, "oh yeah. Guess I need to explain"

~•°♤°•~

Sprinkle's mouth hung open as Dust explained.

There was no way on earth that this was true, he was told that his other parent had died. 10 years ago, he had only been about a week old.

There was no way he could be sure that this was his dead parent, though it seemed like it.

A memory came to his head, some parts seemed to be missing but the image of the skeleton was clear.

It was the same skeleton that was standing in front of him now, with his father of course. They seemed so kind and gentle, thier eyes shined like stars.

Sprinkle snapped at of his memory and came face to face with the skeleton who was now staring him dead in the eyes,

"Ummmm. May I help you?"
