Chapter 12: Home Safe and Sound

About 20 minutes later, Luke gets a call from agent Brooks. "Mr. Luke Troy? It's agent Brooks. Which forest or wooded area did the girl mention?" Brooks asks.

"What? You mean Pearl? She didn't mention a full name..." Luke answers.

"As I thought, sir, there are 3 forests and 18 wooded areas in this state. Out of all that, there are 12 cabins, the number you gave couldn't be found, the phone must be off," Brooks explains.

"W-What..." Luke stutters.

"I'm sorry sir, but maybe a name, a car model, and what the man looks like will help," Brooks says.

"Ah, I'll put you on with Adrian," Luke says. He hands the phone to Adrian and says it's agent Brooks with the FBI.

"Hello?" Adrian says.

"Hello Adrian Willows, I'm special agent Brooks with the FBI. I know you were attacked by Pearl's ex-boyfriend. Mind to tell me his name and what he looks like to help find her?" Brooks says.

"Sure, his name is Jack Dolans, he has light brown hair and blue eyes. I don't know much about the guy but, he was charged with abuse and rape in high school, that's why Pearl left him... she was his victim..." Adrian explains.

"Ah, Dolans... I remember that boy... he was such a trouble maker in Juvenile... he's good friends with Tyler Hans and Hayden James, right?"

"Yeah, the cabin is probably under one of their names,"

"Got it, thank you Mr. Willows," Brooks says then he hangs up.

An hour later, Luke gets another call. "Agent Brooks? D-Did you find them!?" Luke says.

"Ah... No... this is agent Bales... but yes we found them. We need you, Mr. Willows, and Mr. Shade at the police station to help us get your girlfriends back," Bales explains.

"O-Of course! R-Right away!" Luke says. He hangs up and explains it to Adrian and Parker. The three head down to the police station and are greeted by agent Price at the door.

"Brooks, they're here," Price says into one of the conference rooms. Agent Brooks leaves the room and explains that they found the cabin Pearl was talking about. It's rented under Tyler's name and the boats are under Hayden and Jack's names.

"We'll regroup then head down," Brooks says. The three nod and wait outside by the FBI cars. 30 minutes later, everyone is in the car and are on their way to get Crystal, Pearl, and Amy back.

At the cabin, Pearl finally calmed down, but is still angry at Jack. They're all in the living room watching a horror movie. Hayden has his arm around Crystal, Crystal is scared and is holding Hayden tightly. Amethyst is also a bit scared and is holding Tyler's hand tightly. Pearl, on the other hand, is away from Jack, not scared and just staring at the TV. Jack looks at her and grabs her hand. Pearl doesn't react and actually is about to fall asleep. "This so called "horror movie" isn't even scary..." Pearl comments.

"NOT SCARY!? YOU'RE INSANE!!!" Crystal replies.

"I agree, I'm scared too..." Amy says.

"Y'all are weak," Pearl says, "I'm going to fall asleep watching this," Jack looks at her and she is actually about to fall asleep like she said. She yawns and moves closer to Jack. She lays her head on his chest and holds his hand. His face turns red but he smiles and kisses her head.

Suddenly, they all hear sirens coming, including Pearl. She wakes up and realizes she was asleep on Jack's chest. She hears the sirens and starts to cry and smile. She gets up and runs outside. "OVER HERE!! WE'RE OVER HERE!!!" she screams. Adrian sees her outside and stops the car. Crystal and Amy run outside to see their boyfriends have finally found them. Jack looks out the front window to see the cops.
