Chapter 15: Murdered

About 2 months had past. The girls and their boyfriends are almost finished with college and Jack, Hayden, and Tyler are still on the loose with the FBI right behind them. "We're almost to their house... just a little further," Hayden states. The 3 are walking slowly, tired and hungry. Eventually, they come to the girls' house.

"FINALLY! Come on, let's get them back!" Jack exclaimed in relief. The 3 ran to the living room window. It's around 2 in the morning and the window is unlocked. Jack slides the window up and goes inside. They all get inside and close the window, locking it. They each go to their ex's bedroom. Tyler entered Amy's room and sees Parker sleeping in bed with her. He grows furious and walks over with a knife. Amy wakes up feeling something is wrong and sees Tyler walking over slowly.

"B-Babe..." she whispers. She shakes Parker awake and he opens his eyes.

"What is it...?" he asks tiredly. Amy points to Tyler and Parker looks over. Tyler lunges at Parker and pins him to the bed. Amy jumps up and watches in horror as Tyler stabs Parker over and over again. Once finished, Parker laid there in the bed, bloody and just barely alive. Amy scream, waking up her sisters and their boyfriends. She runs out of her room, Tyler following closely behind.

Pearl and Adrian jolt awake and see Jack 2 feet away from the bed, with a knife. He runs to Adrian and before he can react, Jack pins him and slashes his other eye and stabs his arms, shoulders, and chest. Pearl leaps out of bed and runs out of her room screaming. Jack gets up, looks behind him, and starts running after Pearl. Adrian is left bleeding and most likely dead.

Crystal and Luke have the farthest room, so they have time to get up and hide in the closet. Hayden comes in and drags the knife across the wall, leaving marks. "Honey, I'm home~" Hayden calls out for Crystal. Once he's close to the closet, Luke jumps out and tackles Hayden to the ground. He urges for Crystal to run, and she listens. She darts out of the room, leaving Luke to fight Hayden. Hayden rolls over and swiftly stabs Luke's arm. Luke falls over, holding his wound. Hayden gets up and keeps stabbing Luke. He then races after Crystal downstairs, leaving Luke alive just enough to call the FBI.

The girls rush down past the college and turn to find more houses. They see Blake's house, where he lives with his two brothers. Pearl goes faster and bangs on the door yelling. "HELP! BLAKE! NATHAN! DAMIAN! OPEN THIS GOD FORBIDDEN DOOR AND HELP US!!!" Pearl screams. Her sisters are in the background screaming help and they can hear someone inside hurrying to the door. It was Damian. He opens the door and Pearl falls into his arms crying and shaking. Blake and Nathan come racing down and Crystal follows behind Pearl and runs in, hugging Blake terrified. Amy runs darts inside as their exes come closer and slam the door, locking it just as Hayden stabs the door with his knife. She backs away and hugs Nathan, scared and crying.

"Hey, what happened?" Blake asks, lifting Crystal's head with his hand. She looks at him crying and explaining everything.

"Th-That time we weren't at school! Our exes kidnapped us! Th-They're crazy! They killed out boyfriends in front of us! Please help us, we're so scared they're gonna kill us next! They were in prison, we're assuming they escaped, please, Blake, can you guess help us!" Crystal cries. Blake wipes her tears then nods in approval of helping. He looks at his brothers and they agree to help as well. The girls hug them, thanking them for helping and letting them stay.

The boys lead the girls to their rooms. "Here, you can sleep in my bed, I'll sleep on the floor," Nathan says.

"NO! C-Can you sleep with me... I-I'm scared they'll break in..." Amy says in a shaky voice. Nathan's eyes widen a little and his face gets red. Looking at how scared Amethyst is, he nods and gets in his bed with her. He says goodnight and she repeats it back to him. Nathan closes his eyes but Amy is still awake. She moves closer and curls up against his chest, terrified. Nathan wakes up again and puts his arm over her shoulder to prove it's okay and that she's safe.
