February 21st

Nash stood still, dumbfounded, and then glanced at me "uh Hayes... this isn't a little game of yours anymore. That was forever ago. You like the idea of a life like mine; marriage and kids. I don't think you truly know what you want."

"That's the thing," Hayes looked at the ground and glanced between Nash and I. Should I even be here? They're talking as if I can't hear them. I couldn't even believe what I was hearing right now. "I do know what I want. I have to pretend I don't, but I do... it's Jordyn, and it always has been, Nash. And you ruined it! You ruined everything I had pictured for myself and for our life together; mine and Jordyn's."

I walked away slowly, tears rolling down my cheeks. What is happening? Why has this just come up? A marriage and a baby later and Hayes thinks he can just let this all out now? I walked in the tent and gripped my hair. I could see Nash and Hayes through the slit in the tent. Hayes looked defeated and Nash just looked angered. How is McKenna not awake from their yelling?

"You treated McKenna like she was nothing. All throughout school, you didn't want to lose your "reputation"... What reputation were you trying not to even lose, Hayes? You were in high school for Godsake. I never understood why you felt like you had to be the best. This conversation is over. You need to grow up and realize this is real life... not some game of yours. There is nothing you can do. Not now or ever, alright?," Nash looked genuinely exhausted from this conversation. It was silly; the things Hayes' was saying. It made him sound as if we were back on high school.

"I loved her and you took her from me!" Nash turned back around slowly when Hayes had said that.

He furrowed his brow and let out a chuckle. "What? You never had her! You let her go and I am so thankful you did. We're not just passing her around, Hayes. She isn't a toy. She is my wife and the mother to my child, actually, she is the mother to my children."

I pursed my lips when Nash said that and Nash's words left Hayes speechless.

"Oh, what? You think jordyn and I only having one child made you more liable to sweep her off her feet? I don't think so, buddy. You're not understanding that this is our life together. We're having another baby, and many more in the future. You can't sulk over my life with her." Nash spoke in a calm manner. However, his words almost sounded broken, as if he was trying to compose himself. He shouldn't get worked up over this.

I could see Hayes squinting while looking at Nash. "Is that a tear I see? Are you scared? You're scared that I could easily get jordyn if I-." With that said, I saw anger flash through Nash and in seconds, he was on top of Hayes, punch after punch.

I rushed out of the tent along with Mckenna, yelling. I attempted to pull Nash off, but he was too strong. "Nash! Nash, stop, you're going to kill him! Stop!".

It kept on going. Nash was sobbing as he was punching Hayes and his fists became weaker and weaker, and he finally stopped. I grabbed Nash off of Hayes and pushed him back. McKenna rushed to Hayes side and winced in disgust as the blood trickled. Nash took steps back and was breathing hard.

"Hayes. Hayes," I spoke softly. Nash came up. "I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry." I could see the blood on Nash's fists. "Go!" I spoke sternly. Nash looked at me sadly. "Go! Just go, Nash!"

He looked back at me and backed up and fell to the ground with his head in his hands. I looked to see his body trembling from the sobs. I diverted my attention back to Hayes. Hayes looked at me; one eye open and one eye closed from where Nash had punched him with such force.

"Hayes, you're going to be okay. Let's get you up," I groaned as I lifted him up with the help of Mckenna. Nash stumbled over with his hands out trying to help but I pushed him back with as much force as I had. "Go! You have done enough. Go somewhere else!," I yelled until my voice was hoarse. Nash stumbled back and I noticed his bloodshot eyes. The nerve he has... I was infuriated and terrified. It went too far and I should have stopped it before it got to this. The anger that Nash had for Hayes was displayed with each punch. He could have killed Hayes.

Mckenna and I loaded up the tents and all the other supplies and threw it in the car, while Hayes was sitting in the passenger seat looking out the window. He looked so fragile and small. What Nash did was completely unacceptable. Words were said, yes, but to beat up your brother is just cowardly. I saw a side of Nash that I have never saw before; it terrified me.

I couldn't see Nash, but I called out anyway. "We're leaving! Get in the car or don't!"

Nothing. I glanced around the camping area and he was nowhere to be found. "Nash! We are leaving!"

I heard a loud snap and a splash in the distance.
