"Yes, she's here" Nash's dad spoke softly. "She's sitting here with Nash".

I knew my mother was on the other line.

"He's . . . definitely not well, but he's a strong young man. I know he'll make it through. He's getting prepped for surgery. He's still unconscious, though". Nash's dad looked at the ground as he was talking on the phone.

"Thank you, Mrs. Black. Yes, I'll get her" he brought the phone to me though I didn't want to answer. "Your mother" he whispered.

I let out a cough and took the phone. "H-Hello?".

"Jordyn, I was worried about you" I began to stand up and walk to the hallway so I wouldn't cause much noise in the quiet waiting room.

"I'm sorry. Mom. I just-".

"I don't want to hear it, Jordyn. I'm sorry about Hayes, but you shouldn't be there. You're being a burden to his family. They need to be alone" my mom spoke.

"Mom, I was worried about him. I though he had died".

"I understand you were worried, but his family need to discuss things alone. I'm coming to get you".

"I don't want to go. I want to see Hayes!" I began raising my voice. Tears slipped down my cheeks.

"His own family isn't able to see him, Jordyn. You can visit him when he gets home. I'm on my way" and then she hung up. I looked up at the ceiling and wiped my tears, trying to recompose myself before going back to the waiting room.

I walked into the waiting room and handed Nash's dad his phone back. "Thank you" I softly said and walked back over to sit where I had previously been sitting. Nash looked at me.

"You okay?" He whispered. I nodded, my lips pursed together. He leaned in for a hug.

"It's going to be okay, Jordyn. I know Hayes. He's a fighter".

"That day in the car, I was just so upset at him. I lost one of my closest friends and . . . I was angry and didn't know what I was even saying".

"It's okay, don't blame yourself for anything. If I were you, I would've done the same thing".

"I just hope he'll forgive me".

"Of course he will, Jordyn" as Nash said that, I noticed my mother coming towards us.

I looked at Nash and hugged him. "Thank you, Nash. Please call me and update me on Hayes".

He hugged me tighter. "I will. I definitely will". His dad stood next to us and shook hands with my mother.

"I hope Hayes has a speedy recovery" my mom told him.

"Thank you. We all hope so" he placed his hands on Nash's shoulders.

And with one last glance of the hospital, we were on our way home.

(A/n); sorry this is short and bad, but I wanted to get an update in. Another update is coming today.
