42 - Ring

We reached at my grandparent's house around 12AM. My back hurt so much for that 3 hours. Back and fourth from the same location in one day. Thinking of Mrs. Choi, she didn't mind San followed and stayed with me. It's already midnight when I reached here. Somehow I've been greatful he accompanied me until here.

I thought my grandma already sleeping but no. She's still waiting for me at the living room as I can see the lights coming out from the window.

We stepped out from the taxi and headed to the front door. San looked around and I slowly tried to find the key to avoid any noises.

"Your house looks cool" San said while still eyeing the surrounding.

"Thanks but please don't said a word when we go in" I whispered.

He nodded.

I put the key in and turn the knob slowly.

I tip toed went came inside and make a sign to San to close the door slowly.

I slowly held San hand wanted to head to upstairs room when passing the living room but got interrupted.

"Coming home Y/N?" My grandma said from the living room.

"Oh errr.. I thought you already sleep grandma. How did you know?" I said while looking to her chair. I thought she slept on her chair while looking at TV.

"The taxi's engine was loud enough to be heard in this entire village" She chuckled.

I released San's hand and went to her.

San just followed me from behind.

"Grandma.. I brought a friend with me tonight, San. He came from far same as me. Could we make him use one of the room that we had upstairs?" I said and my grandma eyes suddenly widen.

She quickly stood up and looked behind. San smiled and didn't know what to do as my grandma stared at him long before headed to him.

My grandma stretched out her hand to shake him and he took it.

"Omooo... This is the first time Y/N brought a boyfriend here" My grandma excitedly hugged San and San looking at me with a smirk.

My eyes widen hearing that.

"Errr.. Grandma.. He just staying for a while. Why suddenly.." My voice stuttered.

"I will take good care of her grandma" San took my grandma hands and kissed it and grandma chuckled.

I rolled my eyes as a sign not to say anything but he sure braves enough to say that to her.

"Come come let me show you the room" Grandma pulled San to go upstairs.

I just followed them from behind. She sure looked excited seeing me brought a guy to here. I thought she supposed to sleep by now.

My eyes widen when she opened my room. What?

"You can use this room as your own" Grandma said while opening the door.

San headed inside the room and I quickly went to Grandma.

"Grandma why my room?" I whispered.

"Good night. Enjoy for tonight..." My grandma said and slightly pushed me into the room.

What do you mean enjoy grandma? She didn't answered my question.. Erghhh..

Silence hit us.

"Your grandma's very kind. I like her" San said while eyeing around the room.

"Yeah she is.. She's very excited to see you here" I sit on my bed.
