54 - Birthday

Today is San's birthday. San already went to work early in the morning. I woke up and took a shower before preparing myself. I put on my soft pink dress and put some thin make up on my face. I didn't tied my hair and just let it falls on my shoulders.

I took my phone and unlocked it to see the list I prepared to buy some birthday stuff later. I didn't want to wish him by call or message. I want to make it as a surprise. I already think all the arrangement in my head. Candle light dinner, some roses on the table, strawberry flavoured cake and some birthday decorations to be hang in the living room. I smiled and super excited to surprise him. I pick up my handbag and went out from there.

I went to the decoration and saw different kind of things they got here. All this glitter, glossy and cute things in the shop makes me want to buy it all for myself. It's too cute. After decided which one to buy, I went out from the shop to find few roses flowers.

The flower shop block a little far from this block but I tried to walk slowly. Luckily I just bought only small things at the decoration shop just now. If not it's gonna tired me down in the first place.

She didn't realised actually someone was watching and following her from a far.

After she bought 5 roses flowers, she headed out from there.

"Now I just left with strawberry cake" I mumbled to myself as my eyes look around to see if there any coffee shop or dessert cafe. I spotted one at the opposite of the road and went there after waiting for the crosswalk light turning green.

I entered the shop but there was no strawberry flavoured cake there. They out of stock for today. My legs already feel numb because of too much walking. I thanked the waiter and went out from there.

Suddenly someone bumped my shoulder and all of the stuffs fell on the ground. Luckily it was not hard. If not I might fall too.

"I'm sor-" My eyes widen as I can't believe I met him again.

"Y/N? You? I'm so sorry. I was looking at my phone just now. I can't believe we meet again" Seonghwa apologised and I shook my head.

"It's okay" I smiled and I tried to pick the stuffs on the floor but it's hard for me to bend down.

Seonghwa quickly bend and helped me to pick up the plastic and paper bags.

"Thanks. I'm sorry you have to do it for me" I thanked him.

I stretched out my hands wanted to take the stuffs back but he shook his head.

"I can hold this for you. It's not good for you to hold many stuffs at this moment you know" Seonghwa said while his eyes advert to my belly under this pink dress.

I don't know how to reply because he looks like wanted to help me.

"What's with all this stuff? Any party goes around?" His face look to the stuff on his hands.

I smiled.

"It's my husband's birthday today. I wanna make it as a surprise celebration but too bad this shop didn't have strawberry flavoured cake" My voice sounded frustrated not finding his favourite cake yet.

"I see.. How about we find that at the coffee shop that my friend work before? They have that one" Seonghwa suggested and my eyes widen.

"Really? The one that I saw you before?" I'm excited when he told he knew there is a place who sell that.

He nodded.

"Come" He invited me but I hesitated. I don't know why but I just met him few times only but he really friendly to me. Didn't he get busy with any works or other stuff?
