Kageyama's POV

Few weeks has passed since the practice match with Aoba Johsai, it was the start of a new season and the wind started to grow stonger.

~Flashback~

Aoba Johsai was bitterly defeated as the day ended. Everyone congratulated and praised the girls.

"Tobio-chan, may I have a moment?" Oikawa-san called out from behind.

I found myself outside, at the back of the gym talking to Oikawa-san. We were silent for a moment so I decided to speak up. "What did you call me here for?" I asked, he chuckled. "You still have no patience, Tobio-chan." he crossed his arms as I looked at him annoyed. "Alright, alright, I'll get right to the chase." he shrugged.

"I would like to warn you to stay away from my girlfriend." his expression changed as he looked deeper to my eyes, "I wouldn't want to assume but I have noticed you've been eyeing her recently." he added. "I would like to make it clear that I don't appreciate it if men are eyeing a precious girl like her." he went back to his childish expression, pouting.

"Y-you know! I get it that (y/n)-chan is like a goddess among us and she's perfect in every single way! But you shouldn't forget that she has a boyfriend, and that is me!" he puffed his cheeks.

"I-I think you misunderstood me, Oikawa-san." I said, looking away in embarrassment. "Don't get me wrong, (y/n) is pretty but I have no motive to steal her from you." I sighed. "I'm only interested by her skills, I'm just...observing, yet that girl keeps getting weirder as she reveals her skills." I mumbled in frustration. Oikawa-san exhaled deeply. "I'm sorry for misunderstanding you my dearest Tobio-chan." I furrowed my brows, "Don't worry about it, she's all yours." I started to walk away, "and I am certainly not your dearest." I looked back at him.

Oikawa's POV

He started to walk away all cool-looking leaving me there like an idiot. "Stop being a jealous boyfriend, Toru-kun." her words echoed in my mind. "I can't help it, I won't let my angel be in someone else's possession." I chuckled at myself.

Kageyama's POV

We sent Aoba Johsai off as their girls remained to sulk, not even bothered looking at us, while Oikawa-san, well...didn't want to let go of (y/n)-chan.

Everyone started to pack up and clean while Ukai-san, Takeda-sensei, and (Y/n)-chan was over at the corner discussing something. She kept looking away anxiously as the middle-aged men was discussing that seems serious. I saw her mumble a few words as both of the men sighed. I was cut off by Hinata's voice, I turned to him. "What is it?" I asked, "Captain said he'll treat us meat buns tonight." Hinata said with glimmer on his eyes. "Oh, okay." I turned back at the corner, "What do you think they're talking about?" Hinata muttered, "You noticed too?" I asked still gazing at them, "Yeah, it looks pretty serious...you think it's about what Aoba Johsai's girl captain said?" he asked curiously, I sighed. "Come on, let's not make assumptions it's not our business." I walked away, dragging the mop on the floor. "Y-you're the one who's creepily staring there!" he defended.

"Kageyama!" my thoughts were cut off by my teacher's voice, I immediately turned to her and sat properly. "Y-yes sensei!" my body stiffened. "Are you listening? Because it seems like you're already daydreaming." she crossed her arms and furrowed her brows, everyone's eyes glued on me while Hinata tried to hold his laughter. "A-ah yes, I am." I stuttered, as I panicked to find my words. "Then what's the answer for problem number 5?" She pointed at an equation written on the board, I was lost with words as I continued to pretend to think. "I...uh...I think..." I rubbed my chin while struggling to find the answer. "Forget it." she groaned as I made sure to pay attention. Ugh this is embarrassing...
