(Y/n)'s POV

Few weeks was left until it was the day for the boys' upcoming competition. Everything came back to normal after having that talk with Kageyama-kun, and on the other hand, me and Toru-kun hadn't seen nor talked to each other for a while. Yet I felt less unhappy and more relieved the following days, I wasn't sure if the reason was the fact that I decided to see things positively or I was just lying to myself.

"(Y/n)-san, how was it?" Noya-san came up while catching his breath, "You did good, Noya-san, keep it up. Oh and watch your footing, you could strain yourself."  I answered, he simply nodded and ran back to the court fired up. Everyone's attention came to the gym door when Takeda-sensei came running inside causing the gym door to slap against the wall as he opened them. "G-guys! I have news!" everyone quit what they were doing and walked towards the man. "I've been trying to hook up some...people, but we're going to training camp!" he pumped his fist as everyone exchanged rejoices and smiles at each other.

~Break Time~

Everyone decided to take a break before coming back to train, as usual, some decided to drink some refreshments while some sat down on the glossy gym floor to rest. I decided to walk out and grab something to drink to the vending machine when I saw a familiar figure. I chuckled to myself as I slowly walked towards the person. "Hm..." he hummed, continuing to hesitate on his choices. "Having trouble?" I peeked through his broad shoulder, tiptoeing a bit to level myself to his height. He quickly fliched and turned to me.

He sighed, "I can't seem to decide this time." he mumbled, diverting his eyes from mine with an obvious shade of red tinting his cheeks. "Oh." I turned to the vending machine before me and held out my pointing and middle finger as I press the buttons at the same time. I could feel his eyes watching what I was doing as the sound of clashing of the drink against the machine, falling down appeared after I pressed the button.

I crouched down and took the drink. "Hm, looks like you'll be having milk." I presented the small cartoned drink in front of him. He remained silent, still keeping his eyes on me. Curious, I tilted my head and stared back at him. "Don't you like it?"

It took a couple of blink from his sharp eyes to realize he was in a daze. "O-oh, that's fine. Thanks." He lowered his head as he took the drink from my hand. I smiled to myself as I inserted a coin in the vending machine, getting the same drink. I crouched once again to get the carton.

I faced him, "Thanks to you, I won't hesitate choosing too." I chuckled, poking the small straw on the carton. I took a few sip as he finally spoke up. "H-how are you now?" he asked, still diverting his eyes from mine. It was a blunt question yet I understood what he meant, I felt my face slightly heat up as I remembered the event from last time. "C-come on, Kageyama-kun, I should be the one asking that. You're the one who got injured." I tried to laugh it off, this time he faced me. "How's your back? It's not painful when you train I hope? I told you to refrain from training for a while but you-""Don't worry, it's not painful anymore." he cut me off, as he immediately covered his mouth when he realized his eccentric response. I simply giggled at the flushed Kageyama, while he struggled to speak up again. "That's good." I smiled, patting his shoulder for comfort.

I was about to walk off when the man called out to me once again. "U-uhm, (y/n)-chan." I turned around, as the straw remained on my lips. "I was too embarrassed to ask... but please teach me your set." He bowed, while I was left confused. I thought for a while then finslly understood what he meant. "Ah that, well, I'm not really good at it, when you saw me do it back then it was pure luck." I struggled with my words, nervously.

He probably meant the set I pulled off last year during the inter-high, where I first saw them. "p-pure luck?!" he finally faced me once again. "Ah yes, I'm sorry for disappointing you but I'm not that cool." I scratched my cheek, forcing a laugh. "B-but it looked so real. You looked confident." he thought out loud which made me flustered. "Please, I-I'm not that amazing, I got lucky. It's actually not the easiest thing." I explained, "I've been working on it since middle school, but I still have a lot of adjustments to do." I added. He remained silent as he continued to think, "If you want..." he turned to me, "... we can both work on it this training camp." I crossed my arms, as a glimmer of hope was shown through his eyes.

✩✩✩

The day of the training camp finally came, everyone was excited, especially our little orange head boy. He already awaited to school along with Kageyama before any of us were awake. Regardless of thei excitement, majority were still half-asleep, yawning, and sluggishly walked inside the bus. While Shimizu-san was checking if everyone and the things needed were present, Ukai-san and Takeda-sensei helped each other in putting the boy's luggage and necessities in the bus' compartment.

I glanced on my phone, as I saw a message from Toru-kun. After a few weeks he decided to message me back just now? I hesitated for a while and I finally made up my mind. I blocked his number as my palms were shaking. I took a deep breath and decided to brush it off. I finally stepped in the bus still feeling the weight of a heart break drag me down.

After this training camp, I'll surely be alright.
