[40] Moving in

It's been a week since Enzo and I picked our furniture and applied for a bunch of rental properties. Luckily we had our choice of three, so we went and inspected them and choose the one we liked best.

We ended up chosen a brand new home with three bedrooms, of course we'll be leaving one of those rooms empty, one will be our room and the third my study room.

Today we have a whole team helping us move in, and tonight we'll be ordering take out and drinks to thank everyone for their help. Some of the furniture we ordered comes flat packed so we're really going to need those drinks

"Mia, your bed arrived," Charlotte calls happily from out the front.

I leave the kitchen where I'm stacking away the plates and coffee cups and make my way out the front.

"That bed is amazing" Charlotte gushes.

I watch as Noah, Jackson, and Enzo carry it off the truck and across the lawn to bring it into the house.

"A little girly isn't it mate?" Andre jokes

"Your sister picked it." He winks at me which causes me to giggle, no one else understands our little joke between the two of us.

...

It takes hours to get everything moved in and set up, even with all our helpers. But at around five-thirty everyone is done and everything is looking perfectly in place.

"Everything looks perfect Sis" Andre smiles as he makes his way over

"It does, thank you for helping us."

"Of course what are big brothers for" he smiles

"I'm going to order pizzas, what kind do you want?"

"I'm going to head off actually, it'll be six by the time I arrive home and you know I don't like leaving Sara on her own."

"Oh of course, yeah the distance is annoying." I sigh

"It's only for twelve months and then you'll be able to move closer to home again."

"I know." I smile softly

"I'll see you later" he pulls me in for a hug before making his way into the living room to say goodbye to everyone else.

With Andre gone that leaves myself, Enzo, Adrianna, Noah, Charlotte, Jackson, Ellen, and Marco.

I make my way into the living room with the pizza menu in my hand. "I'm going to order some pizzas, choose what you'd like" I hand the menu to the group.

The pizza arrives soon after it's ordered as well as some drinks and desserts to go with it. We sit in the living room together on the floor, all eating our pizza, talking, making new memories in Enzo, and I's first home together.

"Thank you so much for helping us get everything set up" I tell the group with a smile

"Yeah thanks guys we appreciate it" Enzo adds

"Thanks for the Pizza" Marco says with a mouthful, causing us all to laugh.

"So uh, now that I'm living half an hour away and I'm studying full time, I've made a decision about my hours" I tell Elle

"Oh?" She raises a brow

"I'll need to drop back to one day a week and I was hoping it could be the Saturday night so I get double time?" I give her a hopeful smile

"Of course" she smiles back. "I don't know where I'll find someone to cover three days a week with such short notice but I can make it work." She nods
