[68] Lunch date

Mia's POV:

Enzo's distraction in the shower this morning made not only him super late for work, but also me late for my lunch with Charlotte, Adrianna, and Elle. It's been a while since we've all hung out together and I'm really looking forward to it.

"Sorry I'm late," I tell the girls as I rush to the table and make my way around giving them all a big hug before taking my seat

"Look at this cute belly." Adrianna places her hand on my stomach

"I know, I getting bigger and bigger every day." I laugh

Today I'm dressed in a tight white bodycon dress with a pink jacket and some flats. Usually, I'd be all about heels, but I just can't do it today, I'm way too tired as it is.

"What kept you so long baby mamma I was starting to think you were bailing on me." Charlotte smiles

"I would never, I came from Enz's place, I didn't account for the traffic." I lie

"Enzo's place again huh? Enzo's bed as well?" Adrianna wiggles her brows causing me giggle softly.

"Oh stop being so mean they're going to co-parent I think it's very sweet and mature of them." Elle smiles

"Co-parent? Oh they're co-parenting alright." Adrianna smirks as she turns to Elle "You know I'm not kidding about them sleeping in the same bed, they're totally still in love."

"Guys I'm right here." I remind. "Anyway, didn't you have some news you wanted to share with us Charlotte?"

"Yes I do." She says with a big smile on her face. "Jackson asked me to marry him this morning, and I said yes."

We all gasp, my eyes looking towards her finger as she holds her hand out to us.

"Oh my god Char it's so beautiful." I smile and stand up making my way over to her once more "congratulations, you're going to make a stunning bride."

"Thanks Mia." She gives me a warm embrace before pulling back.

I take my seat once more and allow the other girls to give her a hug, before sitting back down.

"I have something to ask you all, I don't have a date set of course as it only happened this morning, but I was wondering if you'd all be my bridesmaids."

"Yes!" Adrianna smiles

"Girl oh my god yes!" Elle giggles happily

"Of course Char." I smile over at her.

"Hi ladies, are you ready to order?" The waiter asks with a smile as he approaches the table

"First of all, we'll need the best bottle of champagne you and four glasses." Adrianna answers

"Three" I remind "Water for me please."

"Yes sorry, water for her." She grins over at me. "And as for food, just give us a moment?"

"Of course no worries, I'll be back with our best champagne." He leaves the table promptly.

I open my menu and begin flicking through the pages, pondering what to have. I don't know why I bother looking I always come back to the same thing.

A few moments later the waiter comes back with the champagne in a bucket of ice and some glasses as well as my water. "Thank-you" I say politely as he places it down in front of me."

Once we've all placed our orders the waiter makes his way back inside to give them to chef. While waiting for our food we listen to Charlottes wedding plans and her romantic story of Jackson asking her. We talk like this for about half an hour, and finally our food arrives.
