Enzo's POV:

"Moretti, visitor" the guard calls and unlocks my cell. He cuffs me and walks me to a private interview room to meet with who I'm assuming is Mia.

The door opens and I walk in, that's when I see him, Andre sitting at the table, with a less than impressed look on his face.

"Andre, what are you doing here?" I sit down across from him

"How could you do that her? How the hell could you just snap and change your mind like that, you don't love her? Really?"

"I had to." I shake my head "These cops are going to do whatever they can to keep me in here man, I found drugs already in my cell when I arrived before I'd seen Mia which I quickly flushed, they planted them in the car that's why I'm here in the first place, and it's not going to end Andre don't you see that?"

"Mia can get you out, she's done it before and she's trying her best again."

"I told her not to bother, I'm not going around and around in circles anymore I'm sick of fighting these people like I have been for the last how many months now? It's destroying me and it's destroying her. Look at how her birthday turned out, they came into our home and went through all of things and smashed things as well, they pull me over once a day, they stalk me, they stalk her, they won't leave this alone until they've got what they wanted and that's me in here."

"You're not thinking straight I swear to god," he says in an annoyed tone "Mia loves you and you've broken her heart, I have never seen my little sister fall apart as she has because of you, and I can't believe you'd do this, you're meant to be my best mate." By now his voice is raised "Did you ever love her at all?"

"Of course I loved her, I still love her, I'll never stop loving her. But I don't want her to spend her entire life trying to keep me out of jail Andre, it's not fair."

"No Enzo, what's not fair is that you broke my sister's heart when all she's ever done is stand by you and support you, don't you see that even if this was something to keep happening she'd keep finding ways to get you out" He takes a breath

"What's not fair is she's still working on a case to get you the fuck out of here, she works day and night, she hardly sleeps, she hardly eats, she just works on your case oh and cancels weddings plans, that's how she's spent the last week of her life, when she's not crying of course or vomiting as she carries your b-" he stops "A stomach bug."

"She canceled the wedding?" I ask softly

"You fucking hold her to asshole, she told me the things you said to her, how the fuck could you be so cruel?"

"I didn't mean the things I said Andre, I just said them to push her away, and it worked by the sounds of it"

"Yeah it worked and I hope you can live with that because she'll never forgive you and either will I." He stands up and pushes his chair in. "I'll never forgive you for hurting her like this." He walks to the door

"Andre," I call after him, he turns and looks at me once more

"You said she's not sleeping and she's not eating, just, please look after her."

"Oh, you care now? Isn't it a little too late for that considering you're the one who did this to her in the first place." He raises his fist to the door and knocks to be let out.

Once the door opens, he leaves and doesn't look back.

I hang my head and blink away tears quickly, I can't cry in here I'll get my ass beaten, I have to pull this shit together and be okay.
