[60] Free man

I make my way down the main street dressed in my office attire of a black dress and heels. When I reach the store I've been waiting for almost two weeks to re-open I'm happy to see the sign is gone and the door is open. 

I make my way through the doors and am instantly greeted by a young shop assistant. "Hello, can I help you?" 

"Yes, I was wondering if the owner may be around? I'm needing to speak to him or her about some legal matters." 

"The ower is my dad, a-are we in some kind of trouble?" she askes worried

"No honey everything is fine for yourself and your family, it's just about the security cameras out the front."

"Oh, sure. I'll go and get him." She makes her way out the back

A moment later she returns with a male who looks around the same age as my own dad. "Hi Sir." I smile "My name is Mia Ricci and I'm a lawyer, I was hoping to speak to you about your security cameras."

"Sure." He nods "What's this all about?" 

"I was wondering if footage was rolling while you and your family had the store closed?" 

"Yes of course, they're always running." 

"Right, well I was wondering if you wouldn't mind me having a copy of the footage at around lunchtime about two weeks ago?"

"I suppose that shouldn't be an issue, did something happen while we were away?" 

"No, just a damaged car that was parked out the front of your store, and with your help, I can prove who damaged the car that's all, it's a small case really." I lie 

"Oh, well sure, let me go and make a copy of everything from two weeks ago you said right?" 

"Yes, that would be wonderful, thank-you." 

"I'll be right back." He leaves once more, heading out the back. 

I look around the store with a small smile, this is it, I can feel it, this is going to be the proof I need to get Enzo out and make him once again a free man. 

A moment later the male returns "Here you go, you can keep the USB." he holds it out to me

"Thank you so much, I appreciate it." I tell him as I take the USB and leave the store quickly. 

I make my way back to my car and slide into the driver side, I pull my laptop out and plug the USB into the laptop, opening the file. I find the day and at around the time Enzo was caught and press play.

I watch as the two police officers make their way to Enzo's car and look around to make sure no one is watching. One of them places some kind of device against the car and he opens it wearing gloves, he then pulls out a large white bag of powder and places it under the seat, passenger side, before standing back up, locking the car and smirking to the other officer, they both laugh and then walk away. 

I fast forward and then watch Enz arrive back a the car, they pounce on him right away, find the drugs right away (of course because they put them there( and then arrest him. 

I save the file to three locations on my laptop and email a copy to Andre as well just in case. I then pull my seatbelt on, put the laptop back on the passenger seat, and speed off towards the courthouse. 

Once I arrive, park the car and make my way inside, I tell the receptionist I'm here to see Judge Harrison and I make my way down to his room. I knock on the door loudly and wait for him to open up. 

The door opens and he smiles "Miss Ricci I was wondering when I'd be seeing you again." 

"I have that proof you've been after," I tell him as I hand him the USB
