My Hero Academia: What We Fight For (Izuocha)

(Arc 3) Chapter Six - Pool Day

     It was another day of camp, but today was different. The scorching hot Sun beamed down on us, causing us to sweat. I wore a black tank top and pink jogging shorts and had my hair back in a bun and flip flops, but it didn't really help keep me cool any. Izuku was practically dying too, him wearing a white T-shirt shirt and green shorts. Basically everyone was indoors next to the tiny fan since there was no AC in the cabins.

     "I give the whole 'true camping experience' part but come on! No AC in the Summer? They're asking for someone to croak" Sero stated, wiping sweat away.

     "It must be over a hundred degrees out today! This is ridiculous" Iida stated.

     "They could've at least given us more than one fan. This is honestly the worst day of my life" Izuku stated.

     As we all stood mere inches away from the fan, Momo and Jiro bust through the door with Kaminari.

      "Guys, good news!" Momo shouted.

     They were all drenched in sweat, looking like they were gonna pass out any second.

      "What news would be good at this point?" Ojiro stated, tugging at his shirt.

      "They're finally opening the pool!" Kaminari shouted.

     Everyone in our cabin just lit up with excitement. We started to cheer, as well.

     The pool here was ginormous, with two big pools to fit all the cabin folks in. It had been closed since we got here for maintenance, but today was the perfect day to reopen it.

     "Hurry up and get ready, everyone!" Momo stated before the three ran out of there.

     "You heard them, let's get swimming!" Sero shouted and we all pumped fists into the air.

     We once again took turns getting changed in the two bathroom stalls, with me going last. I was nervous walking out in my bathing suit, but I guess Izuku was the only one to really look at me. He stated and realized before looking away blushing.

     Man, he's so cute when he blushes.

     "All right, let's go already, I'm dying over here!" Sero groaned.

     "Yeah, I don't wanna be in this heat anymore" Ojiro agreed.

      The pools were near the entrance to the camp, and we could see people piling on from afar.

     "Hey guys, wanna walk to the pool together?" Kirishima asked, coming up to us with Kacchan and Shinso behind him.

     "Yeah, sure" Izuku agreed, and off we went.

     "These damn camp counselors are gonna pay for making us wait so long in this heat!" Kacchan stated.

      "Can it, Bakugo. Be lucky they even opened it today" Kirishima responded.

      "What's you say, shitty hair?!" He yelled.

      Whilst they argued back and forth, I took Izuku's hand in mine and laid my head on his shoulder. I realized he didn't have his prosthetic arm on, which makes since seeing as we were going into water. It was just weird seeing as he didn't like taking it off.

     We arrived at the pool, and met up with Mina and Asui as we walked inside the gate. The pools were outside huge, and people were already splashing around in it.

     "Wow, look at this place! Come on guys, let's swim!" Mina shouted, slipping off her shoes near a chair and jumping in.

     "You heard her. Come on Izuku, let's swim!" I told him, but he didn't move.
