Sarah didn't waste any time getting ready. She changed into some darker jeans and a magenta top with short black lace sleeves. She then threw on a black leather jacket and black choker before fixing her hair and makeup. She went for an edgier look, straightening her hair and adding black eyeshadow on her eyelids. She finished the look by touching up her eyeliner and adding purple lipstick. Once she was satisfied, she exited to see that Billy had simply thrown on a blue flannel shirt and a dark blue jacket.

"Went all out, did you?" Billy asked.

"It's a party, Billy." Sarah responds, "Of course I'm taking advantage of it and dressing up a bit."

Not long after, the phone rang, which Sarah answered. It was Randy, letting her know he was off work and asking if she was able to go to the party. Sarah told him she got the 'ok,' and gave him the address to pick her up. He showed up moments later, and Sarah left after Billy told her he'd be there a bit later.

When they arrived at Stu's place, there was music blaring. People were talking, dancing, and drinking when Stu approached them.

"Hey, you guys made it!" He says.

"Wouldn't wanna miss it." Sarah replies.

"You know, Sarah, you should rock that look more often. It looks good on you." Stu says.

"Don't let Rose hear you say that." Sarah responds before she and Randy joined a few others in the living room.

"It really is a good look for you." Randy says.

"Not too edgy, I hope." Sarah says jokingly.

"Not at all. It's perfect."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

The moment was interrupted by a group of kids cheering as Sidney, Tatum, and Rose arrived.

"Sarah! You made it!" Rose says.

"Yeah, it's a miracle." Sarah responds. "I actually talked Dad into letting me be here."

"You didn't say anything to your brother, right?" Rose asks.

"Not a word." Sarah responds.

"Good." Rose says before looking to find Stu.

Sarah was hanging out with Tatum and Sidney for the next while, casually talking and partying until Randy got the idea to put a movie on.

"Alright, how many for 'Evil Dead?'" He asks, holding the video up. A few people raised their hands, and he held up the next one. "How many for 'Hellraiser?'" He asked, and more people responded.

Rose and Stu were too busy cuddling with each other to pay attention, Tatum wasn't all that interested, and Sarah and Sidney were looking through the other movies.

"'The Fog,' 'Terror Train,' 'Prom Night.'" Sidney lists as she goes through them, "How come Jamie Lee Curtis is in all of these movies?"

"She's the scream queen." Randy says.

"With a set of lungs like that, she should be." Stu adds.

"Tits. See?" Tatum adds.

"She still makes one hell of a final girl, though." Sarah adds.

The doorbell rang and Stu left to go get it. "Oh, Rose, grab me another beer, would you?" He asked, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek before leaving.

"Seriously?" Rose asked.

"Come on, I'll go with you." Tatum says, and they both stand to leave the room.

"Guys, you're not gonna believe who's here!" Stu says, reentering the room. "It's that chick from 'Top Story'!"

There were excited cheers as Gale entered, although Sidney looked uncomfortable. Tatum and Rose rolled their eyes before leaving, and Sarah continued looking through the movies until she spotted one.

"You have 'Carrie'?" She asked, "I love this movie!"

"I heard." Randy says, "Hopefully we'll get to watch it later tonight."

"That is, if everyone else wants to." Sarah says.

The group ultimately decided on 'Halloween,' so they put the movie in and gathered to watch it. While that was being set up, some groups were leaving because of curfew. Sarah also took the chance to get up and get some water when she saw Sidney and Billy go upstairs.

"Shit." She swore under her breath. "Rose will kill me if she sees him."

"What's Leatherface doing here?" Randy asks.

"Hey!" Sarah interjects, "Only I can get away with that."

"He came to make up." Stu says.

"I am so screwed." Sarah mutters to herself as she returns to the living room.

There was only one main group left watching the movie, and they were quite a ways in. Most of the group was crowded on the couch and loveseat, with a few guys behind, and two girls sitting in front. Sarah and Randy were two of the ones on the couch, and Randy would try and keep an arm around Sarah when they weren't jumping from one scare or other as the group talked over it. Right now, they were talking about the Bob kill.

"The blood is all wrong!" One guy says, "Why did they do that? It's too red!"

"Wait, here comes another." Randy says as Michael Myers pins Bob to the wall with his knife. Everyone jumped again.

"Yup, predictable." Another guy says, "I knew he was gonna bite it."

"How can you watch this shit over and over?" Another guy asks.

"Shut up." Sarah tells him.

"I wanna see Jamie Lee's breasts." Stu says, "When do we see Jamie Lee's breasts?"

"Not until 'Trading Places' in '83." Randy says, "Jamie Lee was always the virgin in horror movies. She never showed her tits until she went legits."

"Could afford a decent pair." One girl says as Sarah rolls her eyes at the boys.

"That's why she always outsmarted the killer in the big chase scene in the end." Randy continues, "Only virgins can do that. Don't you know the rules?"

"What rules?" Stu asks.

"You don't- you don't know the rules?" Randy asks, standing up.

"Oh, you've done it now, Stu." Sarah comments. "Here we go."

"There are certain rules that one must abide by in order to successfully survive a horror movie." Randy starts, "For instance, number one: you can never have sex." The others started booing and throwing popcorn at him, but he continued. "Big no-no! Big no-no! Sex equals death. Okay? Number two: you can never drink or do drugs." The group cheered and took a sip of their drinks. "The sin factor, it's the sin factor, it's an extension of number one. And number three: never, ever, in any circumstances say 'I'll be right back,' 'cause you won't be back."

"I'm getting another beer, you want one?" Stu asks, standing up.

"Yeah, sure," Randy responds.

"I'll be right back!" Stu says, causing a bunch of 'ooooohhhhhs' from the crowd.

"You push the laws and you end up dead. See you in the kitchen with a knife." Randy says.

"Alright, you made your point." Sarah says, "Now sit down so we can watch the movie." As she said that last part, she pulled Randy down to the seat beside her and they resumed the movie.

A few more people left later on, and the phone rang, which Randy answered. When he hung up, he told the remainder of the group that Himbry was found dead. All the other guys left, and it was just Randy and Sarah, cuddled up together as they continued to watch the movie, completely unaware of what was going on upstairs.
