Sarah, Randy, Sidney, and Derek met up in the quad with Mickey and Hallie, Sidney's roommate. There were police cars and news vans everywhere for the press conference.
"Oh my God, this is huge." Randy says, looking over the large crowd before spotting someone familiar. "Sarah, Sidney, look. It's Gale Weathers."
"What?" The girls ask, turning their attention to the crowd.
"Star of the Gale Weathers press conference. Based on the book by Gale Weathers. Soon to be a major motion picture starring Gale Weathers." Randy adds.
"Be kind. She saved our lives." Sidney says.
"She had calf implants." Randy says, "I'm gonna get closer." He adds before walking off.
"Seriously?" Sarah says to herself.
"So that's her?" Derek asks.
"Yeah." Sidney responds.
A group of sorority girls then approached the group.
"Hello girls. Enjoying yourselves?" One of them asks.
"Oh, hello, Sister Lois, Sister Murphy." Hallie says.
"Hello, Pledge." Murphy says, "Hi, Sidney. Sarah."
"Hey." Sidney responds.
"This must be flat-out hell for you two." Murphy says, "How are you holding up."
"We manage." Sarah responds.
"It's really weird, isn't it?" Murphy asks, "To think all this fuss is all because of you. I mean, not directly, but some Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon way."
"Yeah." Sarah responds emotionlessly.
"So, Hallie, are you gonna bring your friends to our little martini mixer tonight?" Lois asks.
"I have a lot of work to do-" Sidney says.
"And parties aren't really my thing anymore-" Sarah adds, but Halie cut both of them off.
"We'll be there." She says.
"Oh, good. Because we have our eyes on you girls." Lois says. "You hang in there, and if there's anything we can do-"
"The Delta Lambdas are very sensitive to your plight." Murphy adds before they walked away.
"So, you gonna start to dress like that once you get in?" Derek asks Sidney.
"That's not gonna happen." Sidney responds.
"The Delta Lambdas are the biggest bunch of fuckin-" Mickey starts.
"Hey! I'm pledging Delta Lambda, thank you." Hallie says.
"Well, outside of you, Mickey actually is right for once." Sarah says.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" Mickey asks, "Did I just hear you say something nice about me?"
"Take it while you can." Sarah says, "But as I was saying, those girls are so annoying. 'We're very sensitive.' Bullshit they are."
"Damn. Something happen between you and them?" Mickey asks.
"Oh my God." Sidney says, getting up and walking away.
Sarah looked in the direction Sidney was headed, and got up to follow her when she saw who she was walking over to.
"Dewey?" She asked as she and Sidney ran to meet him.
"What are you doing here?" Sidney asks.
"I was worried about you girls." Dewey says.
"Yeah?" Sidney asks.
