Darry: (Age 87) He died of a heart attack 3 weeks after your 61st wedding anniversary.
Dally: (Age 35) He commuted suicide after you died having his child. 5 months after your 15th wedding anniversary.
Sodapop: (Age 19) He was drafted into the Vietnam war 2 months after your wedding. And 6 months after he left you received a letter telling you that he died on the front lines.
Steve: (Age 21) He was also drafted into the Vietnam war and he came back a broken man. He saw his absolute best friend die in war and witnessed the deaths of so many others. He married you 3 months after he returned from war. But he was so stressed and suffered from PTSD. Despite your best attempts to keep him grounded and happy he still committed suicide.
Two-bit: (Age 72) He died in a car accident along with you and one of your three children. After 45 years of marriage the two of you died right next to each other.
Johnny: (Age 40) Johnny died of skin cancer. He was diagnosed with it when he was in the hospital after saving the children from the burning church.
Ponyboy: (Age 98) He died of old age. He lived a long happy life with you. He died 4 months after your 72nd wedding anniversary.
