Episode 2:Keith's back!

Lance looked at himself in the mirror,they were all supposed to meet at the Garrison but Hunk didn't say if it was formal or not.he grabbed his phone and dialed him up"um,Hunk,what should I wear?" "Anything is fine,Lance.just come as you!wear that jacket that you used to wear,something Keith will recognize!"Lance looked at himself like I'd fit in that jacket again!"don't worry Lance,you'll fit in it."Lance stared at the phone"how.."Hunk laughed"I just know.bye!"Hunk hanged up leaving Lance in his lonesome.Lance sighed as he putted his phone on his bedside and opened his closet,in it hanged his old jacket and shirt.Lance felt memories from Voltron flood back as he took the cloths out of the closet,how Pidge revealed her gender,when Shiro disappeared,when he and Keith had to climb up the elevator.Lance cringed at how reckless and oblivious he was to what his future held,how Allura died,how Keith is only now coming back.Lance putted on the shirt and jacket before looking in the mirror,what he saw almost made him smile.he looked like his old self,not buttoned up blue shirt and a rake.besides his faintly glowing Altean marks and scratched up face from lack of regular skin care,he looked like his happy self.Lance walked out the door with his marks growing slightly brighter.

At the Garrison he saw Pidge and Hunk talking near the landing pads,he walked over"what's going on?"Pidge smiled at him"the Blade of Balmora should be landing in about 20 minutes."Hunk then spoke up"I can't wait to see Keith,what if he's all stone cold from being out in space?"Romelle smiled as she butted in"he survived in space with all of you guys as roommates,I'm pretty sure the Galra was a upgrade."Hunk laughed"I guess your right,Lance would've driven him mad if he spent any more time out there!"he then looked to Lance,Lance in return tilted his head with a forced amused look.something went beep boop on Pidge's tablet making her look down"10 minutes till landing,where's Coran?"and right on cue,the ginger Altean seemed to appear out of thin air"right here!"Lance jumped and bumped into Hunk"give us a warning please?"Lance asked"of course,blue!"Lance groaned at the nickname.

The Galren ship landed as the group waited for the passengers to file out,soon a large group of the Galarens walked out making the group split up as they tried to squeeze through them.Lance preferred not to be in this situation he's probably not even here!you should just go back.he repeated to himself as he tried to get through,he bumped off one Garla making him turn around and hit one with his back with a groan."Lance?"Lance turned around and looked into the purplish grey eyes of Keith,his mask off and hood down."Keith."Lance said with a tiny smile as his marks glowed a little bit brighter"where are the others?"Keith asked"I don't know."Lance looked around"let's get out the crowd."Keith took Lance by the wrist making him squeak before guiding Lance through the maze of Garlan's.

Keith lead Lance to the side and away from the crowd as he let go of Lance"it's..been a long time."Keith mumbled trying to start conversation"yeah.."Keith raised a eyebrow,what happened to Lance?he seemed so sad now,it had only been a year!he can't possibly still be crying over Allura right?she was obviously using him to get over Lotor!Keith pushed away the thought"what have you been up to?"Lance glanced away"farming.."Keith bit his lip why is it always so hard to start conversation with this guy!?"really?are you good?"Lance looked at Keith and smirked"not really."he chuckled with almost no sound as his marks shone brighter"didn't think so."Keith teased to get a small shoulder nudge from Lance."there you guys are!"Hunk barreled in and hugged Keith as Romelle tried to pry him off"Hunk,let him breath!"Keith got out of the embrace after a moment only to be tackled from behind by Coran,Keith caught himself from falling as he held onto Coran as if he was giving him a piggyback ride.Lance walked over"Coran,maybe you should get off before you break Keith's back?"Keith nodded"no..i like it here,I can see my house as you humans say!"Keith groaned and grabbed Coran's shoulder and flipped him over so he was now on the ground,Coran letted out a noise of pain"are you ok?"Romelle asked walking over"y-yeah...should've saw that coming."then he fainted"I know you're faking."Romelle muttered making Coran sit up.Keith smirked"h-how..when!?"Lance was a bit speechless"training."Keith answered simply"I can't wait to show you around!"Hunk said excitedly"Hunk,I'm sure nothing changed."Hunk pouted making Keith rethink"you know what?sure."
