Episode 63:Leo defends Avery

Avery stared at his book as he listened to the teacher finish her lecture,the bell rang and he sat up.

"Hey Avery!"Avery looked over and saw Leo walking over remember how to talk this tim-but how does one talk to someone this hot?GO AWAY YOU DAMN THOUGHTS!

"H-hey Leo."Avery mumbled picking up his books"I talked to the music teacher and he said you could join!he was instantly hooked when he heard that you could hold that note!"

Avery blushed more then he was already"I didn't hold it that long."Leo smiled"it was long enough!"Avery sighed"I'll join theater or something,ok?"

Leo nodded"I hope I see you there!"

Avery,Dillan,and Nicholas all talked during lunch.

Dillan decided to flirt with Nicholas"hey,Niki.are you from Tennessee?because you're the only ten I see."Nicholas blushed"Dillan,I'm trying to eat!"

Avery sighed almost inaudibly why am I only now realizing how single I am?

Avery then caught a glimpse of Leo and looked over,he was getting food on his tray as two girls tried to talk to him.

Avery smiled softly he's so cute..AGAIN!?Avery shook his head think straight,think about those girls near him!Avery instead just stared at Leo trying to escape interacting with them.

Nicholas looked at Avery then Leo,then back to Avery before smirking.

Nicholas then sat up and started waving at Leo,Avery looked up at him"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"he whisper yelled"getting you a date!"Nicholas whispered back.

Avery went bright red,Leo looked over and walked to Nicholas"um,hello?do you need.."he then saw Avery and smiled"Avi,this is where you sit!i should've figured that out sooner."

Avery's face was half hidden in his sweater"h-h-hey,L."Dillan smiled"Aw,you guys already have nicknames!"

Avery gave Dillan a short glare"may I sit here?"Leo asked stop being adorably polite then maybe.Dillan nodded"uh,sorry but this side is full.you'll need to sit by Avery."

Avery shook his head at Nicholas who only nodded back at him,Leo then sat next to Avery.

Avery slowly got his face out of his sweater and looked to Leo,the only time they were this close was in the auditorium.

They finished eating and started walking down the halls to class,suddenly Avery was pinned.

Avery looked up and saw Chris"you don't punch me,coward!"she growled,Nicholas growled and rolled up his sleeves.

"Chris,how is Avery the coward?"Leo asked with a monotone voice"he punched you,you are the coward to come back and poke at him."Avery smiled at Leo and got a grin back to him.

"Aww,look who's defending his boyfriend!"one of Chris's friends sneered,Leo rolled his eyes"you really think guessing who I'm in a relationship with is funny or affects me in the slightest?"

Avery felt himself ease up even though he was still pinned I wish I had Leo's confidence to say that.the friend groaned"fine,we're leaving.don't follow us,brat."

Chris and her friends then walked away,do to Avery not being held up he slid down the lockers.

Leo walked over and helped him up"are you ok?"Avery blushed and nodded"thank you for doing that,I could never have that confidence."

Nicholas and Dillan smirked as they slowly walked away"but you do!i saw you when you sing,you just need to be upfront!I'm sure you could rule the school with your attitude!"

Avery blushed even redder"really?"Leo nodded"oh,class!"Leo then grabbed Avery's hand and dragged him down the hall.

Avery smiled is this what it's like to have a crush?
