Avery groaned"hey."Avery leaned against the lockers"what's wrong?"Nicholas asked,Avery thought back to that day on the beach and grimaced"it's nothing,I'm just in a bad mood."
Dillan sighed"if you're sure."Avery then heard a all too familiar voice"hey Avi!"Avery looked up and met eyes with Leo great,just my luck.
Leo smiled awkwardly I can't believe I said that to him,should I apologize?Chris then walked over"Hey,Leo!"she barked.
Leo flinched and looked to Chris"yeah?"Chris noticed Avery"so you found him didn't you?and his little group of weirdo yes men!"
Nicholas glared at her"we aren't yes men!"Avery looked to Leo then to Chris just get it over with it blondie.
Chris grabbed Nicholas by his shirt collar"hey,get away from him!"Dillan yelled trying to separate them,one of Chris's friends pinned him against the lockers"Aw,is someone scared for their wittle boyfriend?"he teased.
Leo looked to the floor don't say anything and you won't be a target,Leo.Avery then spoke up"they didn't do anything,stay away from them!"
Chris looked back at him and smirked before dropping Dillan on the floor"look who has a voice!"Chris then pinned Avery making the boy squeak.
Leo snapped his head up at the two but if I don't do anything Avery gets hurt.Chris saw the indecision on Leo's face and smiled cruelly.
"Here,take the hit for me."She said pushing Avery into Leo's arms,Leo caught Avery and bit his lip.
Both of the boys stared into each other's eyes please Leo,just do it.
Leo felt his heart and mind fighting for his decision I can't hurt Avery,I love him..
Leo sighed and helped Avery up then looked to Chris"listen here Bitch,who gives you the fucking right to play with Avery like a doll!?"Leo yelled with pure rage making Chris actually look scared.
"Avery has a heart bigger then your own fucking body,and you look like a old granny compared to him!"Avery stared at Leo why is he saying this?he'll get hurt I know it!
"You call him a little girl,look in the mirror!you tease him for being jumpy, you flinch when someone raises their hand!but more importantly is that Avery actually has a family that cares!compared to your home life,I'm the only one you got!"Chris looked to the floor.
Leo slapped a hand over his mouth shit,too far.Chris then turned and walked away.
Leo looked to Avery"are you ok?"Avery nodded"t-thank you."Leo smiled softly"d-did you mean all of that?"Leo chuckled softly and nodded as he blushed.
Avery took a step forward before hearing the bell"shit,see you at drama!"Avery yelped as he dragged Dillan and Nicholas away.
Leo smiled softly stay safe.Leo then looked to where Chris ran off I messed up didn't I?
