Faith whimpered in her sleep as she dreamed.
Faith played with her dolls in the living room,her mother watching lovingly.
The door suddenly opened and a man walked inside,he stinked of whisky and slurred his words"Rebecca!"
The woman glared at him"who is Rebecca?i'm Judy,Brad!"Faith stood up and walked to her room like always,and crawled under her bed.
She heard the fights break out as she covered her ears,trying to tune it out.
Suddenly,she heard glass break then someone curse.
Faith crawled out from the bed and walked back into the living room,Mommy was on the floor and Daddy was staring at her in complete shock.
Daddy then looked to Faith"don't you say a word about this,brat!"
Faith sat up in bed and brought her knees to her chest"I-it's ok,a-all the bad people are gone."she whimpered as she closed her eyes"n-no more bad people."

Avery heard crying and sat up"Faith."Avery got up and walked into her room.
Faith looked up at Avery and wiped her eyes"A-Avery!"Avery sat on Faith's bed"another nightmare?"she nodded"please don't tell Dada."
Avery sighed"I won't,I'm only here to help you."Faith smiled softly and hugged Avery"I just want all the bad people to be gone."she mumbled.
"I do too,but don't worry.good people found us and are going to take care of us."Faith nodded"Dada is a good person,so is Papa."Avery smiled softly"you feel better?"
Faith nodded"y-you can go now."Avery pulled away and walked to the door"goodnight,Faith."Avery mumbled"goodnight,Avery.you're the best big brother in the whole universe."
Avery smiled softly then closed the door behind him the bad people are gone,Faith.i promise.
