Episode 23:the lions and paladins

Keith gasped,infront of him was the red and blue lions.

He looked to Lance"I thought they just flew into space and wouldn't come back."Lance looked at Blue"how did their energy last that long?"Keith shrugged"are they ok?"

Cosmo walked up to the red lion and barked"be careful Cos!"Keith mumbled walking over,Lance walked over to blue.

Keith started at the red lion,why did she come back?

Keith placed a hand on the giant muzzle of the machine"hey Red,remember me?why are you here?is something wrong?"the ground shook again and Keith saw a green,yellow,and black streak fly past them.

The lights in the red lion's eyes lit up making Keith jump,Red rolled off of her side she was now laying down.

"Little...cub?"Red mumbled weakly through their connection"Red,what's wrong?"Red looked to the blue lion who started up and turned her head to Red"creatures...they're coming to earth."Keith gulped"that's why you came?to stop them?"Red bobbed her head in a nod.

Keith looked to Lance,Lance understood too"we have to save earth again!?"Lance whined to Blue"yes,sadly."Blue mumbled sitting up.

Lance sighed"but,you're gonna stay afterwards right?"Blue looked to Red and they seemed to share a mental conversation"we'll cross that bridge when we get there little cubs."Red concluded.

"The others are going to find their paladins and bring them to the Garrison,that's where Green believed they'd start their attack."Blue informed,Red nodded"we must go there now."

Lance froze as Blue opened his mouth for Lance to go in"I-I have go in?"Keith tensed slightly"if you don't want to them we can figure it out-" "n-no it's fine.."Lance walked in.

Keith sighed"has something happened while we were gone?"Keith nodded"I'll tell you on the way."

The lions landed at the Garrison,Keith got out a met with Lance"Lance,you could've told me if you didn't want to go in."Lance was shaking and his marks were flashing"n-no,it's fine.i just need to get my space legs again."

Keith and Lance looked to the other lions as their paladins walked out"um,are gonna ignore that our lions crash landed and we're about to save the world...WHEN WE ARE RUSTY!?"Hunk said looking at the lions.

"It's ok Hunk,we've done it once and we can do it again."Shiro reassured,Pidge adjusted her glasses"what do they even look like?"the green lion stared at the pad in her hands and a hologram shoot up from the screen"and we're gonna ignore that the green lion can control technology?"Romelle mumbled.

Keith looked at the hologram,it had two of the aliens on it.

One was on fours and snarling while the other was on its hind legs like a merecat and sniffing the air,they had a layer of fur on their body and big ears with tiny eyes that were completely black.

Pidge hummed"why could they be?"Keith shrugged"your the space expert."Pidge raised a eyebrow"you've been in space for a full year,meeting other aliens."Keith chuckled nervously.

Keith thought for a bit"I have a idea,I can contact the Blade through Cosmo and we can figure out what these things are."Pidge nodded"sounds solid."Keith ran into the Garrison and came back out with a notebook and pen.

Keith wrote"Aliens are coming to earth,please come."then strapped the notebook to Cosmo,the wolf panted then teleported away.

When Cosmo came back it took about 30 minutes for the Garlan cruiser to come and land,Kroila ran out and hugged her son"Keith,are you ok?"

Pidge was probably recording but Keith didn't care"I'm ok,Mom."Kroila then took Keith's hand and saw the ring"shit.."Keith mouthed to Lance I can't believe I forgot my family.

Kroila raised a eyebrow at Keith then looked at Lance"I'll talk to Mr.McClain later."he muttered and out came the Blade troops.

Kolivan looked down at Keith"the Aliens?"Keith turned to Pidge,she showed Kolivan the hologram.

Kolivan stared at it for a moment"Parasit.."he concluded"what is that?"Hunk asked"a creature that is well known in the far parts of the galaxy,it moves in tribes and are highly intelligent.but...they destroy every planet they call home,I'm sorry but soon earth will be destroyed by them."
