Episode 9:double date

Lance woke up and went downstairs"Keith?"Lance looked around,Keith must've been outside since he wasn't there.

Lance walked outside and saw Keith talking to Kaltenecker"I don't know what to do Kaltenecker,what about you?"Lance walked over"Keith?"Keith jumped and took out his knife"ah!"

Keith eased up"oh,s-sorry Lance."Keith putted away his knife"you ok?i overheard you talking to Kalt."Keith rubbed the back of his neck"y-yeah,I'm fine Lance."Lance crossed his arms over his chest.

He knew Keith was lying but he didn't want to make Keith even more upset,Lance then looked up at Keith"wanna go to the market?Veronica can come!"Keith smiled faintly"sure."Lance tensed"wait she doesn't know about.."he gestured to Keith then himself"whatever's going on!"

Keith glanced away nervously"I guess we'll tell her there?"Lance gaped"are you CRAZY!?she'd butcher you!"Keith rolled his eyes"what can she do to me?"Lance hesitated"I'm sure she can do something!"Keith chuckled"just call her."

Lance took out his phone and dialed Veronica,the phone ringed for a moment then she picked up"jello?"Lance looked at Keith"hey V?wanna go to the market with me and Keith?"Veronica smiled"sure!can Axca come?"Lance nodded"sure!"Veronica stood up"I'll meet you there!"she then hanged up.

"She's bringing Axca with her."Keith nodded"cool,let's get ready."

Lance waited outside for Keith,when he came out he wore a red shirt and black jeans.

Lance smiled"I don't think you've worn a pastel color your whole life."Keith chuckled"why would I?"Lance didn't answer as they walked to his car and started driving.

They got to the market where Veronica and Axca were waiting"hey Lance!"Veronica greeted"hello again,Keith."Axca mumbled"how have your travels been?"Keith smiled"we've been to lots of planets,I'm sure you'd fit right in with some of their cultures."

Lance smiled"enough with the small talk,let's get shopping!"Veronica smiled and grabbed Axca's wrist"let's look over there Ax!"then off they went.

Keith and Lance did their best to keep up but got left behind pretty quickly,Lance stopped in his tracks at a plushie market.

He walked over and awed at the sight of a blue lion plushie,Keith smiled at his boyfriend and looked to the merchant."what do ya got?"Lance bit his lip"nothing really.."

Keith crossed his arms as Lance walked away glumly"it's ok,let's go Keith."Keith glared at the merchant"what do you want for it?"Keith asked once Lance out of ear shot.

The merchant smiled and looked at Keith's knife on his belt"how about that pretty little knife you have?"Keith growled and took out the knife,it extended to full length and the curve stopped inches away from the merchant's neck"how about we compromise?you give me the plush without the knife,or the knife gets wedged in your wind pipe."

The merchant gulped"fine,take it."Keith took the plush then putted down a single coin"keep the change."he then putted back the knife and went to find Lance,Keith caught up to Lance and showed him the plushie.

Lance's eyes shone as his smile grew"you got the Blue plush for me!?"Keith blushed"y-yeah.."Lance then hugged Keith,Keith fell back against a nearby wall from the force.

"Thank you,Keith!"Keith handed Lance the plush"anything for you,Lance."Lance blushed and pecked Keith's cheek,Lance then grabbed Keith's wrist"c'mon,I gotta find something for you now!"

Lance looked around the market with Keith,nothing struck either of them as something Keith wanted.

Lance then looked at a store,knifes were hanged all along the outside walls and he smiled"how about here?"

Keith smiled"sure,let's look around."Lance walked over with Keith and showed him deferent knives,Keith tilted his head"this is cool."

Keith pointed to a knife with the blade dipped in rainbow"can we have this one?"the merchant smiled"what do you have to trade?"Lance thought for a moment"oh!"Lance pulled a ball of mini yarn out of his pocket.

The merchant was about to say no when Keith glared at her,she cleared her throat"I-it's all yours!"Lance cheered and gave Keith the knife"there you go,Keith!"Keith smiled"thanks,Lance.."Keith thought of when he'd leave and how he'd definitely bring this knife with him.

He didn't care if the Blade thought he was weird with a rainbow knife,he just wanted to have something Lance gave him for good luck.

Lance snapped his fingers"Keith?you ok?"Keith snapped out of it"y-yeah,I'm good..let's go."

Keith,Lance,Veronica,and Axca all met up at a nearby lake.

Veronica and Axca were sitting at the edge and Keith was watching the clouds with Lance because gayness.

Veronica then suddenly shoved Axca in the water making her squeak"Veronica!"Veronica laughed loudly"you should see your face!"Keith and Lance sat up and watched Axca take Veronica's hand and pull her in the water,Veronica yelled out"JESUS CHRIST!"making Lance laugh with Keith.

Lance got up and turned to Keith"no,I'm not going in there!"Lance smirked and grabbed Keith's arm before dragging him over"LANCE!"Keith yelled as he was thrown in the water,the splash hitting Veronica and Axca.

Lance smiled and jumped in,Keith broke the surface of the water with his bangs in his face"see!?this is what happens,Lance!"

Lance laughed and pushed away Keith's bangs,Keith blushed and glanced away"I hate you so much."

Lance smiled"I love you too,samurai."Lance then pecked Keith's forehead"WAIT,WHAT!?"Keith and Lance jumped and looked to the others in the water.

Veronica crossed her arms over her chest"you two were dating?"Lance nodded awkwardly"surprise.."Keith said weakly,Veronica smiled"I knew it!"Veronica cheered making almost 20 pounds of worry lift off of Keith and Lance's shoulders.

Lance tilted his head"you're not mad?"Veronica shook her head"no way!"Keith letted out a sigh of relief"I told you you were over reacting!"Lance splashed some water in Keith's face making him laugh,the two couples spent hours swimming around and talking before heading home.
