EREN
It'd been a full month since their first kiss. Eren wanted more than just a lip smack from Faldrey, he wanted to taste, to search, to seek deeper into his full, rich taste. He wanted the wet warmness that was his tongue, but he settled on going with the pace Faldrey had set. There was absolutely no need to rush things.
They had continued to meet at the watchtower at the rear wall almost every night. Any night Eren couldn't meet up with Byron, his beloved, it was either because he was too busy with the occasional meetings in the Fire Throne room, or because of some random feast in the Great Hall. He felt incomplete on these kind of days, there was no feast or merriment for him if Byron wasn't there.
He yearned for Byron day, night and in his dreams. He'd learnt to control the telepathic connection between them. He'd learnt to transfer his own feeling of happiness to Byron whenever he felt sad, even if he was more than a heartbeat away from him.
Eren was slowly drifting off into a dreamless nap, he was exhausted. The council meetings had started to become too frequent and long lasting. They seemed to be talking about putting more attention into the Flame Breather army in case of a war.
They were making plans to host an Infernal Tournament to recruit new Stoichi fire Dakyres into the Flame Breather army. Eren thought it was a total was waste of time and gold pieces, because there wasn't going to a war in the nearest future.
They were allies with the westerners and the other tribes were too broken, and honestly almost too scanty to pose a threat to them.
Sighing and sinking deeper into his heavenly mattress, he regretted not paying close attention to Byron on that faithful day he decided to suprise him. If he was attentive enough he would've felt Byron coming closer to him, and he wouldn't have seen him in such a state. Everything that happened could've been averted.
Eren suddenly felt a pang of dread and a gentle chime before all of a sudden he felt hot, incredibly hot. His room had a normal temperature and it wasn't even a hot day, it'd rained that morning, so the heat was caused by something else. Something dangerous.
Shooting up from his bed, he pressed his fingers against his temples to muffle the chiming sound so he could think, but it only got louder and louder, and more frequent. He felt like he was burning.
Byron!
His heart momentarily stopped. He shot up from his bed, completely agile and enraged. putting on his mask, he quickly dashed out of his chamber-room and followed the sound. It wasn't coming from his sister's chambers, the uncertainty of what Byron might be going through fueled his rage and increased the amount of steps he took in a second.
He found himself heading towards the spa and relaxation chamber buildings, he pondered what Byron might be doing there that had him dinging like the gigantic bells I'm the castle turrets.
Hastening towards the source of the chimes that seemed to rise a few decibels every time he took a step closer, his body felt hot, and that was not just the heat of the rage within him. Something else made him feel hot; like he was in the heart of a burning forest.
Finally making it into the stone chambers of the building, he scanned hallway after hallway. He'd only been here a hand full of times with his father for their occasional Stoichi flow massages.
Getting annoyed, he sped out towards the last building in the area where the lounge was. The sound was just above his head, he knew it, he just had to reach out and get to it. He just had to reach out and save his beloved.
Hearing noises from behind the door that led into the lounge with the orthopaedic wooden beds, he kicked the door open, not caring to know if it was locked or not.
