EREN
Standing in front of them was a limping Metsumi in bloody, ragged clothes, panting heavily. Blood streamed down all the closed head injuries she had, mixing with the strings of sweat on her face.
"You bastard! I will kill you!" She yelled, as he faltered forward.
"What happened to you?" Eren looked at his sister with pity.
"What happened to me?! I almost died in that castle bunker, those stupid Flame Breathers were completely useless. They could only serve as a shied for me to escape," she sneered, pressing a palm to her head.
"What about father?" Eren inquired, a sad glint in his eyes.
"He killed himself," clenching her stomach, she coughed up blood.
"What?! Father just gave up like that?" He couldn't believe his ears, he never perceived his father as someone who would just give up, no matter the situation.
"He didn't give up!" Her voice rose, "he was strong and graceful until a member of The Sphinx used some dark coaxing poem on him and he walked into his own fire and burnt! He burnt to ashes and I did nothing but watch him burn!" She announced, crying out so loudly.
Despite everything that his sister put him through, the sight of her; tattered and bloody, had him wishing he could save her right from the start.
"I'm so sorry about that," he sincerely apologised once again to his sister whom he couldn't help but love unconditionally. "You should come with us. We're leaving now, you'll be safe," Eren tried to move closer to his sister but Ursa stopped him.
He still held Faldrey's motionless body in his arms.
"Come with you?" She let out a laughter which made her wince at the pain it brought, "I'm here to kill you! I knew something wasn't right when neither you nor Ursa were in the castle bunker. So I came to your little secret place with that Crescent Moon servant boy and I heard—" she stopped and looked down at the body her brother was carrying. "Is that my maid servant?"
When she noticed the expression on Eren's face she cackled again, not caring about the pain she felt. She loved the pain, she also loved to see her brother in so much pain.
"Isn't that such a tragic love story," her eyes turned a malevolent bright blue, the colour of her flame, "you're going to join him soon."
"Get behind me!" Ursa ordered, and jumped in front of Eren.
In a split second Metsumi started punching the air frantically, sending vengeful blue fireballs directly at them.
Ursa got in the middle of the fireballs and Eren, deflecting them and changing their trajectory to the Lava Sea. There were loud explosions every time the vengeful blue flame crashed into the sea of hot molten rock.
She kept shooting and Ursa kept deflecting. The balls grew less frequent until she finally fell to the floor, weeping.
"Die! Why won't you just die!" She wailed, throwing her weak hands in the air, attempting to create more fireballs, but she was drained of Stoichi.
Eren stared at his nefarious twin sister who was wishing death upon him with tears trailing down from his eyes.
"I really thought I could save you, Metsumi," his voice was filled with so much concern for his sister.
"Die! Die you abomination!" She continued to wail.
Ursa dashed towards her and placed a hand on her head. She fell silent in seconds before falling to the floor with her face, unconscious.
He then carried her back to the tunnel and laid her there.
"What did you do to her?" Eren asked the man who'd been more of a father to him then his real father ever was. The reason he was safe and the reason he still had the privilege to hold Faldrey, even though he was dead.
Ursa was probably the only other fire Dakyre from a noble family who was still alive.
"I cauterised her brain. If she does not wake up an imbecile, she won't remember anything important, like seeing us leave through the tunnel," he spun Eren around then placed a hand on Eren's back, gently pushing him along as he walked to the Westian floating metal craft. "Let's get out of here, there's nothing to look back on. We will only look up to the future of the new Red Stoichi Tribe we are going to build together," he assured the Young Tal Dane.
Despite being so few, Eren held on to only the good memories he had of his twin sister.
