She gazed down at your warm chest, gently caressing it. She looked at your scars, and traced them gingerly with her fingers. Her cool fingers gave you chills. Her eyes were filled with love and wonder, as if you were the only person in the world. She didn't care. She just wanted you.
There, in your arms she lay, not wanting anything but you. She wanted you not for the feeling of lust, but for love. As she gazed at you, hands wandering around your strong chest, you noticed. The shade of hollowness hidden behind those brown orbs has faded into a distant memory. She smiled, sweetly and delicately, as the warmth in her eyes grew.
She no longer remembered her past in that very moment. The only thing that mattered to her in that very moment was you. You gave her a reason to live again. She remembered happiness. She remembered warmth. She remembered love. You opened her heart to something sweeter than she had ever experienced. For that, she silently thanked you as she lay next to you. The gentle strokes of her hand started to slow as her eyelids grew heavy. She gently whispered three words before drifting into a light slumber. Those three words were enough to make any sadness or pain wash away. "I love you," she muttered. Her voice, sweet and light, rang through your ears. She had taken your heart, and you weren't willing to take it back anytime soon.
