chapter 9: Saving Mary

TERRY POV

Tila para ba akong sumabog sa aking nakita. Out of my reflexes, I just found myself pushing Sese out of the room. He tried to stop me but umiling ako. I need to talk with this masked man?! SETKA supposed to be?! But now?! The man infront of me is LEO?!

Naningkit ang mata ko sa narinig ko. Seriously? I made a sharp stride to cut our distance. I don't get it! What and Why the hell is he here?! Ayoko mang aminin pero habang tumatagal everything makes a sense.



I keep staring at him. Kung tama ang pagkakabasa ko noon sa idenification tablet, Sese is supposed to a vizier. Kaya hindi malabong magkakilala sila because they were in the upper class of the society. 

Kaso ang hindi ko maintindihan? Are they friends? Did they plot these scheme together?! From making Mary run out of Anatolia, making me a fool and following Mary? The female knight? Roy? Rian? And that liar Sese?! But how the hell he have the logo of SETKA? 



Isinuot ni Leo muli ung mask.

Halos magpintig ang pandinig ko. Hindi ko na kailangan pang marinig ng buo. Leo was indirectly telling me na planado ang lahat! Ung pagpunta sa bar, ung lason, ung pagkidnap at itong pagpunta sa bahay aliwan! F*ck!



"Your sister could have been rape! Hindi mo ba naisip yun?! You should think----"

"Terry, ano bang ikinagagalit mo? You told me to choose what is better for the people at ikaw ang bahala kay Mary--- Terry!"

THIRD PERSON POV

Nagulat si Terry sa narinig. She unconsciously drop the dagger. Sa gulat, Leo pulled her closer and kick the fallen dagger away. Muntik na itong bumagsak sa hita ng dalaga. Kitang kita ni Leo ang pagkagulat ni Terry.




It feels like, hindi nia alam ang pangyayaring un.




Leo decided to stop talking. She was shivering on his arms. His words jug some of the OLD TERRY's memories. She gasp when she recall something. Halos masuka ang dalaga sa naalala. Leo's words become a bomb key that trigger the memories.

Terry enter Leo's office. The old Terry was the one who told Leo na wag ng magdalawang isip and do his responsibility. At siya na ang bahala kay Mary. She even tell na wag sabihin sa kanya ni Leo ang magiging plano para hindi ito magdalawang isip.

This all happen bago mapadpdad si General Terry sa nakaraan. Naitulak ng dalaga palayo si Leo. Namutla ang dalaga sa pangyayari. The old Terry ALSO chose responsibility over her family.
