"we're going to be cleaning this all summer" JJ sighs.

"That is my nightmare" John b sighs. 

"Amen brother" Nixi agrees while looking out at all the damage hurricane Agatha cause to the Outer Banks.

"Well look who we have here" John b says in a high pitched voice while Nixi and JJ whoop as they come up to Pope on the dock.

"We have a safety meeting" John b says while mimicking a walkie talkie, "attendance mandatory." 

"I can't" Pope says while hosing everything down. "My pops got me on lock down."

"Come on man" Nixi says while JJ also mimicking a walkie, "Your dads a pussy, over."

"Oh i heard that you little bastard" Pope's dad says as he walks up the dock. Nixi starts to laugh so hard she needs to sit down.

"We need your son" says John b.

"Yeah, and island rules" JJ starts, "Day after a hurricane is a free day" he says as if its obvious.

"Who made that up?" Popes dad say, obviously calling bullshit.

"Pentagon, i think" Nixi says trying to stop laugh. "Yea, we have security clearance, i have a card" JJ finishes while reaching into his pocket.

"Ya'll think i'm stupid?" Popes dad says while Pope starts to try convince his dad that he will finish up tomorrow.

"Get in the boat" John b whisper shouts.  "Yea make a run for it" says JJ.

"I'll do it tomorrow, i promise" Pope says after he jumped into the boat. John b starts to drive the boat away while Popes dad yells at the teenagers.

"Love you pops" Nixi yells back at the man while the other three boys laugh. 

5 minutes later they've picked up Kiara, cracked open a couple beers and where out in the marsh.

After 2 hours of swimming, laughing and drinking they where heading to John b's favourite spot when JJ says "Let me show you a party trick."

While climbing up to the front of the boat he tell pope to go faster and Pope does. JJ the holds the beer a foot away from his face and tries to get it into his mouth. Nixi laugh at him while dangling her feet of the front of the boat.

"Ew, your getting beer in my hair" Kie complains while everyone else just laughs. That's until Pope hits something in the water and JJ and Nixi both get thrown off the boat. Nixi belly flops into the water while JJ does a back flip in the air before crashing back down.

When Nixi comes back up to the surface she groans and looks over to JJ, "You guys okay?" John b asks.

"I think my heals touched the back of my head" JJ replies while Nixi just nods.

While hearing John b make sure Kie is alright, Nixi swims back to the side of the boat. "Pope, What did you do?" JJ asks while also swimming back towards the boat.

"Sandbar, the channel changed" Pope replies.

"Yea no shit" Nixi states after hauling herself back onto the boat and looking at the redness forming on her stomach from flopping onto the water.

"Hey i saved the beer tho" JJ says while Pope stands over the front edge of the boat looking done into the water. 

"Jesus, are you okay Nixi?" John b asks looking at her stomach. "That's gonna bruise." he says and Nixi just rolls her eyes at him and groans while holding a cold beer on her stomach.

"Guys" Pope says with a worried look on his face, "I think there's a boat down there."

"Shut up" says John b while Kie rolls her eyes and says, "No way."

"No no no, guys I'm serious" Pope says while pointing to the water, "There's a boat down there"

As soon as everyone saw the boat they started to take their clothing of to jump in the water. Even Nixi was curious and jumps in with the rest. Holding their breathe the Pogues started looking around the boat as best they could while under water. after a few seconds they all head back to the surface.

"Did you see that?!" JJ says excitedly and everyone laughs. "that's a Grady-white, a new one of those are like. 500gs, Easy" he says while they all swim back to the boat.

"That's the boat i saw when Nix and i surfed the surge." John b says while looking over to Nixi, who just's nods along.

"You guys surfed the surge?" Kie asks, frowning.

"That it dude, Pogue style" JJ says while giving them both high fives.

"Wait, wait." Pope starts, "Do we know whose boat that is?" he asks running his hand through his hair. 

"No" says John b while digging around in the hull for anchor "but we are about to find out."

"Its was too deep man" Nixi says while pushing her hair out of her face.

"Only for the weak and feeble, Nix" he states while holding the anchor to his chest.

"Well I'm not resuscitating you" JJ says, "Just making that clear upfront"

Nixi starts to laugh until Kie elbow her, "John b" she says looking worried.

"What?" he laughs.

"Diver down, fool" Pope says while John b just sighs. 

"Yea he is" JJ says while pushing John b off the boat.

The four teenager rush to the edge to try and see what happens with the boat. 

"should we go get him?" Pope asks. Before any one could answer John b finally comes to the surface.

"Oh my god, that took forever" Kie says.

"Any dead bodies" Asks both Pope and Nixi at the same time.

"Any looting potential?" JJ asks while hauling the anchor back up.

"No" says John b, "but i found this motel key" he says while holding it up. Nixi groans while stepping away from the edge,

"A key?" Pope says, obviously disappointed

"Yes a key, Pope" John b deadpanned. 

"Great!" says JJ sarcastically "we salvaged a motel key."

"Maybe we should report it to the coast guard" Nixi starts to say. 

"yea we might get a finders fee" Kie finishes as they start to drive away from the wreck.

"Yeah, and not have to work all summer" JJ says, "thanks Agatha, you batch!"

John b and JJ walk through the crowd to the try and talk to the coast guard while the other three hang back and watch. After an unsuccessful attempt the two boys come back to the others.

"Well that went well" Pope says as the boys walk towards them.

"So whats the plan?" JJ asks while playing with a pen he definitely stole.

" think i know how we are going to fin the guys who owns that boat" John b says while holing up the motel key. Nixi nods along, looking over t Kie who seems to agree.

"Whoa, we don't know who's room that is, it could be anyone" Pope says starting to worry.

"I'm in" says JJ while throwing the keys to Kie who says, "C'mon, I'll be look out"

"Finders fee, Just saying" John b says while walking past Pope and patting his chest. "And hey, at least you'll only be an accomplice"

"Oh man" Pope says before finally following the rest. 

"Come on bubba" John b says while Pope and Nixi trial behind the rest.

Sorry its taking so long to release new chapters i really try to make them as detailed as possible and also long. but i'm going to be trying a lot harder!
