As Pope steers the boat towards the motel, you can see all the damage that the hurricane cause. There's debris every where and mattresses thrown out because of the mold. A tree had even fell over into the water. It defiantly did not look like the kind of place someone who had a brand new Grady-white would stay.

"And i thought the chateau was bad" JJ says with a whistle.

"This place is a shit show" John b says as he looks at all the debris.

"Motel or meth lab" Nixi says, "you be the judge" Pope replies.

"This does not look like a place someone with a Grady-white stays" John b says voicing what everyone else was thinking. 

"No it looks like a place someone with a Grady-white would get killed" Pope says while Kie and Nixi nod along.

"This is your captain speaking, HMS Pogue coming in for landing" JJ says while mimicking someone on the radio.

JJ jumps off the boat and ties it to a rock while Nixi looks around. this place gave her the creeps and she could just tell something was going to go wrong.

After John b and JJ make sure the boat is secure and wont float away. 

"Hey" Pope says looking at John b, "Don't let them do anything stupid" he says while nodding towards Nixi and JJ. The two look at each other and laugh

"I can't promise that" John b says with a shrug while JJ helps Nixi off the boat. 

"Be careful" Kie says while handing John b the key. "I mean it"

Nixi laughs a elbows JJ while the two of them start to make fun of John b.

While walking toward the motel door Nixi was trying to ignore JJ making fun of John b. That was until she heard him say "give me that John d already" and she started to laugh.

"Is this us? Twenty-nine?" Nixi says interrupting the two boys . 

John b tried the lock and the door swings open, Nixi walks inside and starts to look around, she can hear the boys discussing how old they think the guy who was staying here was. She giggles a the some comment about new balances. 

"yo, guys" JJ says, "Come here." Nixi looks over to him and see him pointing at something on the table. As her and John b walk over the see its a map of some sort. "Maybe this is where they were fishing?" He finishes point to some coordinates on the map.

"Nah" Nixi starts, "That's off the continental shelf." she says.

"Yea, that's a big swell. Nobody fishes there" john b finishes. The three ignore the map and keep looking around the room, John b looks in the cabinets while JJ goes in the bathroom. Nixi decides to look into the bedside tables.

"ooooh" JJ says from the bathroom. "Did you find anything?" John b asks.

"A really awesome Dopp kit that you wont let me steal" JJ says while still slipping a bottle of deodorant into his pocket. 

"Yea because we aren't stealing shit" Nixi says while rolling her eyes at him while he shrugs.

Nixi hear john b mumbling something to himself and turns to see that he found a safe. "Punching shit at random" JJ says, "that will definitely work."

JJ and Nixi go back to looking at the map while John b keeps trying the safe. While JJ is rambling about what the coords might mean Nixi hears John b unlock the safe. Turning to him she sees it open with stacks of money and a gun. She walks towards him while covering her mouth. "holy shit"

Nixi elbows JJ while John b says "you're gonna wanna see this" 

JJ walks to wards the safe and the first thing he does is grab the gun. "Oh god" Nixi says while sitting down on the bed and running her hand through her hair.

The other two boys start to bicker about the gun when Nixi and John b hear something at the window. They both go to see what it was to see Kie and Pope out side saying something about cops. John b goes to the other window, Looks back at them and says "Cops"

"Shit" Nixi says while opening the window to climb out. She rolls her eyes when she see JJ put a wad of cash and the gun in his pocket before following her out the window. JJ pulls Nixi into his body and pushed her against the wall. Nixi breath caught in the back of her throat when she noticed the compromising position she and JJ were in. 

The three of them listen to the cops looking around the room. Nixi tries to move a little bit and hears JJ groan. "Are you okay?" She asks, still not being able to look at him.

"Yea, just stop moving your ass" he says while he puts his hands on her hips to stop her moving. Nixi feels her face blush bright red as she feels something against her lower back.

"Gross JJ" She says as she looks over to John b who shushes them. "I can't exactly help it Nix" he says while biting his lip.  JJ turns slightly to look at Kie and Pope who are back in the boat. As he turns the gun in his pocket begins to fall. Nixi feels it and tries to stop it but is too slow and it falls down making a massive noise. 

All three of them hold their breath when the see the cop looking out the window. Luckily for them he doesn't see them and finishes packing up and leave. Nixi, JJ and john b wait a few minutes before climbing down and climbing in the HMS Pogue.

"You could have warned us a bit sooner" JJ says 10 minutes later when they are back out on the water.

"We would have but Pope was on the math team" Kie says, rolling her eyes and looking at Pope. 

"The cops took everything like it was a crime scene" Pope starts ignoring a comment JJ makes about the math team, "Did you find anything?"

"Did we find anything?" JJ says while reaching into his pockets. "No, i don't think so. Oh yea, we did" he says holding the gun and the wad of cash in the air. 

"What the hell!" Pope whisper shout while Kie looks at Nixi and John b with a disapproving look. "I'm going to loose my merit scholarship" Pope groans.

JJ starts to shush Pope while holding a gun up to his lips, "at least you have us right"

Pope pushed JJ away from him and says, "I'm living the nightmare."

That's it for this chapter. I'm going to try get one done everyday but i don't know how that will turn out! i hope you enjoy and also please know that Nixi's character does get a lot more complex as the chapter go on as does hers and JJ relationship.
