"I am going!"

Bruce crossed his arms. "You aren't trained. I am not putting the Team in danger in order to accommodate-"

"There's a reason I don't approve of child sidekicks, but if you're going to insist on it I want to be in a place where I can keep them from getting hurt." If anything happens to Kaldur or Dick, I'll never forgive myself.

"Percy is a capable fighter. I would feel much more comfortable with her alongside us." Kaldur said.

"Yeah, sure. You just want your girlfriend along for the ride." Wally rolled his eyes. "Why else would you want someone who hates what we do along?"

"She has her reasons for not agreeing with what we do. I know them, but considering the fact I do not wish to get stabbed again I will not share them."

"You say that like other people haven't stabbed you," I rolled my eyes.

"You are the only one who will stab me for no reason."

"Excuse you, stabbing you for stealing my food is more reason than Travis had." Did I stab Travis afterwards? Yes, but when don't I stab one of the Stolls?

"Focus. Black Manta and Sportsmaster have been spotted in a dock warehouse in Gotham for the past several nights. League satellites have picked up shipments going in, but none going out so if they're working on something, it should still be in there. This is a recon mission only, do not draw attention to yourself. Especially since you have a civilian with you."

"Should we give her a mask?" Dick asked.

"I'll be fine without one. I have enough of a troubled kid reputation that I can pretend I broke into the place."

Bruce didn't say anything for a minute, staring at me. He nodded. "Leave immediately and do not put yourself in harm's way. Your uncle is a major backer for the League, we cannot afford to lose his support."

The others turned and walked away. Kaldur stuck behind, waiting for me. He unhooked a waterbearer from his pack. Pressing it into my hand, he mumbled, "I know you do not need it, but it would be easier to explain this than Riptide."

My fingers closed around the cool metal and I slid it into my pocket. "How are we getting there? Zeta Tube or-"

"Megan's Bioship. It is technically a living creature." Kaldur started walking away. I followed after him.

"How safe is it going to be?"

"I know you are not scared of flying, Percy."

"Yeah. When there's no risk of me dying."

A red spaceship sat on the floor, with a ramp leading inside. The inside was bigger than I expected it to be, and the floor changed shape until another seat faced out the window.

"That is so trippy," I said, sitting down. Safety restraints formed around me. My eyes wandered towards Kaldur. He caught me looking; I immediately looked back out the window.

The moment we took off, I screwed my eyes shut. My fingers dug into the armrest.

"We're here." Artwmis shook me. I mumbled a thanks and followed her out. The others were already in the dimly lit alley, standing near a locked gate.

"Can you pick the lock?" Wally asked.

Dick shook his head. "I could, but the gate would be way too loud, even with all of this rain. I can climb this, but what about you guys?"

"I can." Artemis said, grabbing the metal link and lifted her body up. The fence bowed outward and she dropped down. "Maybe not."

Connor jumped over the fence, Kaldur followed. Dick scaled the fence with no issue. Megan flew over. Wally boosted Artemis over before running up a wall.
