The Potter Twins

Chapter 6

I woke up at six thirty in the morning. I looked around and saw no one was up yet so I got up and grabbed my robes and took a shower. When I finished I put my robes on along with putting my hair in a braid.

I then brushed my teeth and walked out of the bathroom to put my pajamas in my trunk. And when I stood up and looked around I saw that Hermione was starting to wake up. So I decided to wait for her so I sat on my bed and started reading. Hermione saw that I was awake and ready for the day with all my books in my duffle bag that had my clothes from the time Uncle Vernon tried to keep us from our letters. So she quickly got ready and we headed down stairs to the Great Hall. 

When we got to the Great Hall we were the first few there and so we sat down and began to eat. We soon finished and started to read our books. For Hermione it was the required books for me since I read and memorized them I was reading a book from Flourish and Blotts to past the time. Soon Harry and Ron sat next to me and started to eat. And not long after Professor McGonagall gave us our time tables for our classes for the year.

I saw that we had Potions first. I was excited because it always sounded interesting at home. But I heard groans from Ron. I looked at him asking a silent question. Why did it sound like he was dreading potions? He looked at me and opened his mouth only to be interrupted by his twin brothers.

"Oh you guys have Snape first I feel bad for you guys." Replied Fred while he looked at Ron's Schedule.

"Why Fred?" I asked because it sounded like they hated him.

"Because he favors his house along with despises Gryffindor. You will be lucky to not lose any points." Answered George while he looked at me. "Hey your Violetta Potter right?" I nodded my head and wondered where this was going.

"Sweet and oh hey why did it take so long to get sorted? Because I think that was the longest sorting in Hogwarts history. And why didn't we know you like your brother at the train station? Also how can you tell us apart?" They asked together I sighed and was thinking on how to answer but then Hermione saved me.

"Hey Violetta we need to head to class so we aren't late. And to get good seats." I said okay and shot her a grateful look. I got up with Hermione and left the Great Hall with Harry and Ron not far behind. Once we got to the dungeon's we waited with the other Gryffindor trying to ignore the Slytherin's who were teasing us. Then the door opened to reveal Professor Snape.

Me, Harry, Ron and Hermione who was with me took seats in the back in hopes to go unnoticed. And once Professor Snape closed the door the hashed whispers stopped right away. He walked to the front of the classroom and looked at all of us and then got started on roll. " Ah Harry Potter our new celebrity." To which the Slytherin's snickered. He then continued and then start to lecture us how potion making is a subtle science and that there isn't any foolish wand waving. He then continue to tell us what he could teach us. Then he looked at Harry and said something to get his attention to which I had to nudge Harry.

"Tell me Mr. Potter what would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to an wormwood infusion?"

"I don't know sir." Harry responded while mine and Hermione's hands are up in the air.

"No? Then tell me where you would look for a bezoar if I ask you to get me one?" To which I kept my hand up to show I knew the answer.

"I don't know sir." Harry replied sounding irritated. 

"Well lets try another then. Tell me what's the difference between monkshood and wolfbane?" To which Snape was staring at Harry not caring that the Slytherin's were howling with laughter. With mine and Hermione's arm still raised to answer the questions.
