Chapter 9

Violetta POV

When we got to the station I let Loyalty crawl on to my shoulders. He snuggled up in my hair but his head peaked out. He licked my cheek making me giggle. I got my luggage off the train and in a trolley. I waited for Harry and Sirius before going to the entrance. There we left together and there with a sour expression were saw our relatives. I smirked and went to them with Harry and Sirius following me.

"Hey Uncle Vernon this is our long lost godfather Sirius Black." I saw him pale at the name. I was silently laughing at this.

"How about we go to your home Uncle Vernon? That way we can discuss everything." Harry suggested to which Vernon nodded.

When we get to our relatives house we went to the living room. There sitting on the couch was aunt Petunia and watching TV Dudley. When they saw us and Sirius they got confused but looked scared too. Me and Harry sat on the floor so Sirius could take the chair that was still open. Uncle Vernon sat next to aunt Petunia.

"Right like what Violetta said at the train station I'm Sirius Black and I'm their godfather. I have recently been release from prison. Because they discovered that I was innocent and brought the real criminal to justice. Now as for the living  arrangements for my godchildren. I have talked it over with authorities and we have come to the agreement that they will live with you for two weeks. After that they live with me. But I will be staying in contact with them.

Also if they are going to stay somewhere else I need to know so I can find them okay?" Our relatives looked scared but then uncle Vernon opened his mouth.

"And how come your their godfather? We have never met you or heard about from their parents before." I snickered at that with Harry. Letting my hair change to light pink and violet. Harry along with our relatives were shock to see that. So much so it put Harry in an even better mood and our relatives on edge.

"I was the best men at their wedding and was life long friends with their father. We even went to school together and shared the same dormitory. And they chose me because they knew I would do anything to protect them." Was Sirius answer to uncle Vernon question. Which made all three of our relatives pale. At that I couldn't stop myself so I ended up bursting out laughing. So did Harry at their reaction.

But soon it all was figured out. We would go and live with Sirius after spending the first two weeks of the summer holiday with our relatives. Sirius then hugged us and said he'll see us soon. We agreed and then hugged him goodbye for the moment.

Sirius POV

I loved that! Sure Lily said that they weren't the best muggles when it came to magic. But their reactions were hilarious. But I better go get the house ready for them. I only have two weeks before they come after all.

A daily prophet arrives. I pay the dilvery owl and pick the paper up and I eat. I look at the front and choke on the head lining.

Peter Petegrew escapes!

After years of staying hidden and framing Sirius Black. Peter was caught by Harry Potter. But on the way to Askaban he turned into a rat and escaped.

The newspaper went on to say more but I stopped reading. I didn't know what to do. On one hand a dangerous man was on the loose. And I didn't really have a way to check on the twins. And on the other. That meant Peter was on the run from loyal followers of the dark lord.

Either way he was a danger to the twins no matter what. I groaned and leaned back into my chair. This was so frustrating first I get free and name cleared. And get to see my godchildren with no problem. Then Peter ruins it all with what he is doing. Which frustrate me and everyone who knew the truth greatly.

Sorry for the short chapter!!!!!!! I reached the end of the book when I got to this part and didn't know how to continue it. I hoped you enjoyed it and found the Dursley's reaction on finding out about Sirius at least a little funny.
