While many people would be having a calm and quiet breakfast in the morning that wasn't the case in the Dursley's house hold. For they had a young witch and wizard in their house and they hated that. So they tried to keep that world out and away from their house the best they could. Even if that meant arguments over the pet of the young witch and wizard.
"This is the third time this week that blasted owl have woken us up this week! If it can't stay quiet it'll have to go." Yelled their uncle, who was a big man but had a short temper when it involved the magical world and in general with his niece and nephew. "She's cooped up if you would let her fly around for an hour or two-" But Harry the older of the twins was cut off by his uncle which isn't much of a surprise. To them since this has been going for along time.
"And have you send letters and so on to your freak friends of yours I think not!" Uncle Vernon glared at the twins but mainly Harry because he wouldn't drop it and kept on fighting. But what he didn't know was that Violetta was listening and was waiting for the right time to pipe in before it got out of hand. And so she did once their friends were mentioned.
"But we haven't got one letter from our friends and they aren't freaks." Violetta said this while staring defiantly at her uncle. Because ever since their first year at Hogwarts Violetta's confident has sky rocketed and she wouldn't back down. This annoyed her relatives to no bound besides Harry. And since they didn't know they weren't allowed to do magic they have been treating her better along with Harry.
But that conversation was over and they started to go over the plan for the dinner party with the Mason's. On how Vernon would be picking them up, Dudley would be at the door to take their coats and greet them and say how Mr. Mason was his hero, how aunt Petunia would welcome them into the lounge and that was were Violetta would be waiting to great them and complament them on how they looked. While Harry would be up stairs making no noise and pretending he doesn't exist. Soon Uncle Vernon left and that left aunt Petunia and Violetta to finish making dinner.
Once they were done and Harry was still doing his chores for doing "magic" Petunia took Violetta upstairs to get her ready. Mainly with her outfit and hair. When she was done Violetta looked at herself with the full body mirror her aunt had. And she gasped at how she looked.
