Chapter 8

After Valentine's day everything was back to normal. Everything was great until Harry and Ron found that Diary of Tom Riddles.

That just made things so much more complicated. But I couldn't focus on school, guitar lessons, quidditch and that blasted diary. So I put it aside until the game with Hufflepuff. But of course Harry hears that voice again which causes Hermione to have a break through on the mystery. So she rushes off to the Library before the match.

And while Wood is giving his sleep giving encouragement speech Professor McGonagall comes in and says that the match has been cancelled. Then she grabs me, Ron and Harry and brought us to the Hospital Wing. There she warned us that what she was going to show us will shocking. She pulled back the curtain and what I saw shocked me. "No...no no no.... This... This can't be happening." I was muttering to myself and out of pure shock I ran out not listening to anyone and went to the astronomy tower. There I cried and cried just from seeing Hermione my best friend who is like a sister to me like that was too much.

After a while I went to Gryffendore tower and was told about the new rules. But I didn't care I just went to the dorm and looked out the window by my bed listening to the melody in my locket. But it soon got dark I so went to bed still in shock.

After all of that the year continued as normal or as normal as it could get with Hagrid going to Azkaban and Dumbledore getting temperately suspended. Of course I was there to witness all of it. Then Harry decides it's a good idea to go into the forbidden forest and talk to deadly spiders. We barely got out alive from that I made sure to voice my thoughts and anger at him. Then I stormed off. But as I was passing Moaning Myrtle bathroom I went in since she was the girl who died if what that diary showed Harry was correct.

"Moaning Mrytle... Can I talk to you?" I called out as loud as I dared. She then came out of a stall and looked at me.

"What do you want?" She asked clearly upset and in a bad mood. I sighed on the inside but put on a kind face on the outside. But then for some reason she shot back into the stall and I got hit in the head causing everything to go dark.

When I woke up I was in a cavern with Salazar Slytherin face carved all around. That was when it hit me I was in the chamber of secrets. I looked around and saw I was a lone but tied up. And so I tried freeing myself to no luck so far but I am going to keep trying.

Harry POV

I'm glad we went to Aragog but now Violetta is irritated at me for almost getting us killed. But I just went to sleep when I got back to the tower. The next morning Violetta was nowhere to be found. But I assumed she must be in the library, Great Hall or a classroom. So I didn't think much of it. But as the day wore on I didn't see her at all. But then Lockhart started to say things about Hagrid that pushed everything else to the back of my mind. After DADA Lockhart complained how they didn't have escort us to our classes or patrol at night anymore so I convinced him to let us get there by ourselves.

And when me and Ron were sneaking to Moaning Mrytle bathroom we got caught by McGonagall. Luckily we were able to convince her we were trying to visit Hermione. And so she let us do that and went to go tell Professor Binn where we were. There we figured out what was in the chamber of secrets.
