"Let's get a move on stupid."I stood up from my place in the booth stretching. Biting the inside of my cheek as I turned to Garou. In the corner of my eye I saw him glare at me . I chuckled waving him to follow me.
He grumbled standing up as he followed me. We walked in comfortable silence as we approached a strip mall. He tsked at the sight.
"Really, do we have to go in? I don't think having one set of clothes is bad." I cut my eyes and smacked him on the shoulder. He groaned as I grabbed his wrist and dragged him in. As we approached the clothing I waved to the endless racks of fabric.
"Okay now choose two sets of pajamas, 9 outfits to your liking." He paused scrunching his eyes narrows slightly before hesitantly nodding. Is he ....embarrassed ? I stood like a mother patiently waiting for her kids to get back from to the toy isle. I softly smiled to myself as he fumbled awkwardly in the in the clothing section. He came back with the clothes slightly flustered as he placed them gingerly in the wire basket . Quirking an eye brow but not pushing it further . "Alright let's get some other things I needed."
"Do we have to, I feel like a damn chihuahua being dragged around!"He groaned .
"Shut it ."
I chuckled heading to the grocery section, proceeding to grab leeks, meat, rice, and beef broth.Man it's getting hot I should get some ice cream. I happily ran over to the frozen isle as I searched for my favorite flavor . I hummed a familiar tune to myself. "Ah there they are." I yanked the door open excitedly as I reach in grabbing bubblegum , and f/f ice cream. I closed the door with my knee and placed the cartons in the basket.
"Seriously?!" Garou pointed into his mouth and pretended to gag.
"What?" I pursed my lips clearly unamused.
"Bubble gum flavor is disgusting. That shits for kids and taste like medicine!" He complained . Done with shopping I huffed dragging him by his hand and laughed tiredly.
"Oh hush. It's good and besides I like for nostalgic purposes...it makes me happy. You know you could smile more often." I stood in line for the self check out.
"Sounds boring." He said bluntly. I internally rolled my eyes .
"You're right..."
"HUH?!" He questioned taken aback.
"Yeah, cause then you'd actually be attractive. And no one wants that." I teased snickering to my self . As I saw his eyes widen whilst I scanned the groceries before heading to the exit. I heard his martial art flats thump loudly nearing me. I smirked smug with my comeback.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN 'THEN'?!"
At this point it was to hard too contain my laughter.
"Well my shorts certainly ain't Niagara falls here sir." I laughed as he continued to nag me as we walked back home.
