The last week of senior year is filled with many late night cram sessions and assignments being written amongst all of the girls in the house. The day that we all finish we know that we need to celebrate somehow, which is how we decide to throw a graduation party at the house. We all get to work, invites going out via text messages, decorations getting bought at the closest party store, food getting made in the kitchen and furniture getting moved around to accommodate for everyone coming.
"I can't believe that we're doing this" I say as I help make the food for the night ahead, "believe it babe, we're actually throwing a party for once in our lives" Sierra exclaims with a grin, I shake my head but don't say anything else. After a few more minutes of silence I speak, "how did school go by so quickly?" Sierra looks over at me with a smile, "I don't know, but it's been a great four years here" I nod as she comes over to pull me into a hug. Suddenly more arms come around us, "we couldn't help it" Emily says making me laugh, "it's okay I can never get mad at a group hug with my faves" the hug tightens before we all let go. "Okay enough mushy stuff, lets decorate for this thing" Gwen leaves the kitchen with Emily, "you can go help them, I just gotta put the finishing touches on everything" I nod and walk out of the kitchen to help put up graduation decorations.

When the three of us finish putting up decorations a hour later we start kicking around the balloons that litter the floor around us. Sierra joins us a few minutes later as we bounce the balloons around the room to kill some time before we need to get ready for the party. As we move around the living room pushing the furniture against the walls for later my ringtone sounds. I keep laughing as I walk over to where I left the device, picking it up to answer the call. After a few minutes of talking to the person on the phone I hang up shocked as I walk back into the living room where my friends are sitting. "A what's wrong?" Gwen asks concerned, "I got the job" I say while looking over at her, my roommates jump up, "you got it!" Emily yells, I nod as a grin comes to my face, they all wrap me in a hug.
After a few seconds they pull away still smiling, "more the reason to celebrate tonight" Sierra chimes in, my thoughts move to Eli a frown coming to my face, "okay what just happened?" I look down at my feet not wanting to explain. "You can tell us Anna, we won't judge" I look up at Emily with a smile, "I know" they pull me down to sit on the couch, I sigh, "I haven't told Eli about this job" when i'm met with silence I look up at my friends who looked shocked, "he doesn't know?" I shake my head as I bite my lip, "babe you gotta tell him, this job is taking you across an ocean" I shrug, "I don't want to ruin his NHL dream, he can't play in the league if he follows me to Europe" a hand comes to my shoulder, "how about we don't think about this tonight? think about it more and you decide what is right for you guys" I smile, "that sounds good" my friends smile before dragging me off of the couch and to my room, "time to get pretty girlies we're graduating" I grin as we go get ready in our own rooms.

A knock on my bedroom door a few hours later startles me as I fix my hair, "come in!" I yell as I finish smoothing down any fly away hairs in my bathroom mirror. "Wow you look stunning" I peer over my shoulder seeing Eli standing in the doorway his eyes moving up my frame. I turn to him with a smile, "you're looking pretty great too" he shrugs as I walk over placing my hands on his chest, his moving to my lower back nearly on my butt. I smile up at Eli, "I love you" he grins lowering his head to press his lips to mine for a few seconds before pulling away, "I love you darling" I bite my lip as he takes my hands in his bringing them up to kiss my knuckles, "lets get out there" I nod as he tugs me out of my bedroom.
The living room is crowded with people when we make our way there, "Anna!" I turn to the voice seeing Gwen approaching us, her cheeks flushed from the alcohol she must've drank. When she gets to us she hugs me, I laugh and hug her back, "we're done school!" she yells into my ear, "you betcha girl" she giggles before letting go of me. Graham grabs ahold of her before she can injure herself, "nice to see you Anna" he says with a smile, "ditto G, take care of her please" he nods before my slightly drunk friend pulls him away from us. "Wanna dance gorgeous?" I smile as I turn to Eli, "lead the way handsome" he laughs as he guides me through the crowd to our make shift dance floor where he holds my hips, my hands resting on his shoulders as we move to the music playing. "Some of the rookies have started following your roommates like puppies" Eli says into my ear, I peer up at him, he nods in a direction making me peer over my shoulder, I snort when I see two young hockey players talking to Sierra and Emily, "those poor guys" I mumble, I hear Eli chuckle making me smile as I turn back to him. "I mean its gutsy of them to try" I nod while looking up at my boyfriend, "its their hearts that will be broken in the end" Eli snorts before burying his head into my neck, "you're sassy tonight" I giggle as he leaves kisses along my neck and shoulders, "it must be because graduation day is looming" he places a kiss on my cheek before catching my lips with his. I get lost in him as the crowd around us becomes fuzzy, Eli's hands sneaking to the hem of my dress as I weave my fingers into his hair.
I hear wolf whistles making me pull away from Eli, I see my roommates coming to us, I roll my eyes as they grab me pulling me away from my boyfriend. As I get further from Eli I peer over my shoulder, sorry, I mouth at him, he shrugs with a smile on his face. I spend the rest of the night dancing with either friends or Eli before dancing with some of the hockey team for laughs.
