Chapter 9: A Cat, A Monkey, And A Fox! or Two?

*Luna's POV*

It was already two days ever since Blake and I ran away from Beacon. I was walking around Vale to see if I can buy myself some ice cream. I can't buy strawberries since everyone that I know knows I have a fetish for them, so I'm buying strawberry ice cream instead. I reach the ice cream parlor and order strawberry ice cream.

Me: Um... Can I have strawberry ice cream?

Parlor Man: Sorry kid, we ran out of strawberry ice cream.

Me: *pouts, sad* Aw...

Parlor Man: Although, there is Neapolitan Ice Cream.

I raise my head in curiosity.

Me: Neapolitan? It's been like a long time ever since I tried that. What is it like again?

Parlor Man: It's like a banana split. Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry.

Me: Hm... Might as well try it out again.

Parlor Man: Alright then, give me a moment.

He goes to grab ice cream but he comes back with...

Me: Two bowls..?

Parlor Man: Oh, the other one is for our usual customer. The one standing behind you.

I turn around and saw a girl who is slightly shorter than me. I'm at least 5'1, this girl must 5 feet or something. She had pink and brown hair with some white streaks, her skin was a bit paler than me, and her outfit was the same theme as her hair, white, brown, and pink.

Me: Why do I feel like I've seen her before?

The guy hands us our bowls. I was about to pay but the girl payed for both of us. I wonder why?

Me: Um... Thank you..?

She nods and smiles at me before pointing at a vacant seat. I decided to join her for the company. She pulls out her scroll and types something. (When ever Neo speaks, it's on her scroll.)

Neo: {You're welcome earlier. I just like it when people enjoy Neapolitan Ice Cream. I'm Neopolitan, but just call me Neo for short.}

Me: *giggles* You're named after an Ice Cream? That's so cute.

Neo: *blushing* {Well, thanks for the compliment! ❤️ You look cute too you know. 😉😙}

I blushed.

Aquarius: I sense another ship incoming! Hehehe...

Me: Shuddup Aqua!

I can hear Aquarius giggle in my head. That's when I look closely at Neo. Her eyes were brown and white earlier but now it's pink and brown. I gasp, surprising her, and tears streamed down my cheeks.

Me: *in tears* Is that... Is that you Ice Cream Queen?

She gasped in shock and tears fall from her eyes. She shakily types on her scroll.

Neo: {Is that you Snow Cone Fox?}

I smile and moved over to her and gave her a hug, which she immediately hugs back.

Me: I'm so glad we get to see each other again!

She nods slowly and we released each other from the hug. I went back to my seat and enjoyed the ice cream while trying to share events with my friend. Eventually, we had to part ways to she gave me her number so she and I can chat every once and a while.

I decided to visit my favorite weapons shop to go and see if I could get some dust arrows for Newt, dust ammo for Ryker, and dust crystals for me and Silver.
