Chapter 27: Broken

*3rd Person POV*

In the ruined city of Vale. A safe zone was established by the remains of the Atlesian Military. Beacon was now in ruins. Infested with Grimm. Students from different schools have already returned to their specific academies but some stayed. Why? Because four certain fox idols are currently in a coma in a hospital in Vale. Some that stayed are Teams CFVY, EMBR, FNKY, and the remainders of JNPR.

Sadly, even if they didn't want it. Teams FNKY and EMBR were forced to return to their specific academies. Team CFVY left for Vacuo while the remaining members of Team JNPR stayed. Blake left to see her family in Menagerie while Sun followed as her companion. Weiss was taken back by her father, Jacques Schnee, back to Atlas. Ruby and Yang are on their home in Patch.

Where is the rest of Team SSNW you may ask? Well, Silver and Newt left for Atlas since they have to go home. Ryker on the other hand, well... No one knows... After saying goodbyes with Silver, he just left and no one knows where he went. But even though they left, they still have hopes that Luna and her sisters will eventually wake up.

Inside the hospital laid four broken and injured fox faunus. Beside one of them, sat a heartbroken Glynda Goodwitch. Seeing her daughters in a broken state was painful for her. Every one of them were in a critical condition due to their injuries and have a possibility of dying. Every doctor within the hospital, including some doctors from Atlas, tried their best on saving these idols but failed. Even Angel, who recovered quickly, tried seeking the help of Gabriel but even she couldn't heal them.

Angel: Damnit!

Angel punches a wall, leaving a fist mark on it.

Glynda: *crying, muttering* please don't die... *sobs* my baby girls... please don't die... everyone need you... *sobs* I need you... *cries*

While everyone was mourning in Vale. In The Garden, Olly was angry. He blamed himself for not being able to help his daughters. But he was more worried for something else.

Olly: *sigh* The princess needs to be found before it's too late...

He looks up to the sky.

Olly: Daughters... Please... Wake up... We need your help...

Back in Vale, Trix was trying her best to heal the four foxes but to no avail. She sighs and leaves the room. As she does, the room becomes cold and a chilling voice was heard.

???: What have they done to you my daughters..?

The person caresses the cheek of the unconscious Luna.

???: I wish I could help... But I can't... I'm sorry...

The person kisses Luna on her forehead and then Natsuki, Twilight, and Yue. The person proceeds to leave but leaves behind four different colored flowers. Luna had a white rose, Natsuki had a pink rose, Twilight had a lavender, and Yue had a yellow tulip.

Hana and Glynda comes back and watches over the sisters.

*3 months later*

Three months have passed and it was already winter season. The sisters were still in coma while Glynda and the others try to rebuild Vale. Hana and some huntsmen were clearing out some parts of the city that still had Grimm on it. Angel on the other hand, brought some of the elite huntsmen with him to take down as much Grimm as they can around Beacon. Slowly but surely, they managed to reclaim some ground around Beacon.

Back in the hospital, the sisters lay still in bed. The Zodiacs weren't talking either. Everything was quiet. Yuna, the Arcane Foxes manager, was listening to their music.
