Chapter 5: Nightmares and Lies

~Dream~

I was walking around in a field when I see the most beautiful flower. "I can give this to my brother Jason." I say aloud smiling and laughing. Then I suddenly get pushed down by someone.

"Hi Jason! I got this for you!" I smile and give him the flower. He grabs it and squishes it in his hand. My smile fades away. "I don't want that flower. I want you." He said smiling widely.

"W-what?" I say a bit scared. "I said I want YOU!" He said a bit louder still pinning me on the floor. His hands traveled up my shirt to my bra. "J-Jason! What you you doing!?" I shout trying to push him off. He unhooks my bra and starts to take off everything else.

~Dream Over~

I wake up screaming. Soul shoots up obviously scared to death. "What?! Are you okay (Y/N)?" He asks me. I whimper and put my head on the crook of his neck.

"Sshhhhh. It's okay (Y/N). Can you tell me what happened?" He said petting my head. "J-Jason...." I whispered.

"Who's Jason? Was he your old partner?" Soul asked me. I shake my head no. "Jason was my brother. He raped me on a field." I explain still terrified. "Did this really happen to you?" He asked. I nod. He mumbled something. "Hm?" I say looking at him finally calmed down. He looks at me. "Nothing. Try to go back to sleep." He says smiling. That was cute. Wait! Did I just say cute!? Did I like him? Impossible!

We lay back down. I shiver still scared of the dream. I felt arms around my waist. "It's okay (Y/N). I'm here for you." Soul whispers in my ear. "Thanks Soul." I hug him back.

~Maka's P.O.V~

"Why that bitch!" I yell throwing something. "She thinks she can steal Soul from me. Well. She can't. He's my partner. MY PARTNER!" I yell looking at Tsubaki. She scoots away a little.

"Sorry Tsubaki. I just miss Soul." Tsubaki smirks. "Oh! You miss him? Sounds like someone is jealous!" She said putting her hands on her hips.

My eyes go wide. "What?!" "I said you are jealous!" She said still with her hands on her hips. "What are you going to do about it huh?" Tsubaki said. "Kill her....." I mumble.

~Soul's P.O.V~

(Y/N) was so terrified. I never thought a badass girl could be so terrified. Wait what!? Did I just call her badass? Only me and Maka are badass. "Soul." She said half awake. "Yes (Y/N)?" I say opening one eye. She smiles and hugs me.

"It's cold in here. You really need to get a heater." She said looking at me. "Okay. But only for you." I answer blushing. Thank god it was dark in the room.

~The Next Day~

I wake up in a smooth soft surface. I open my eyes and see that I am on Soul's bare chest. "What the hell?" I yell jumping up. He wakes up with a moan. "(Y/N). It's too early in the morning." He moans.

I laugh. "Ha. Um, Soul?" I ask getting off the bed noticing his big scar as he sat up. "What. You wondering about my scar?" He asks getting up.

"Yes and no. I want to know why I was laying on your bare chest." I answer.

"Well I got this scar fighting Crona and his weapon. And in the middle of the night you woke up terrified because of Jason so I comforted you. And you also fell asleep on my chest." He answers still tired. Oh yeah. I remember waking up to that nightmare. And Soul...... Hugging me with no shirt on and I am in my big shirt....... WITH NO PANTS!?!?!

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!! Don't look at me!" I yell quickly grabbing shorts and putting them on. He looks at me confused. "Why?" He said tilting his head.

"I had no pants on you idiot!" I yell at him. He then quickly jumped out of bed and put a shirt on. And ran into the kitchen. "Well then." I say to myself looking at the door wide open.

~Skip to The DWMA~

Me and Soul dared not to tell a living miester, weapon, or soul about last night and this morning. We acted like everything was fine. "Hey (Y/N)." Black Star said walking towards us with Tsubaki.

"Hey Black Star. Hey Tsubaki. Kid said I need to see Lord Death. I will be right back." I say turning to walk to Lord Death's room but there was a hand on my wrist stopping me. I look to see who it was. It was Soul. He wasn't looking at me holding my wrist with one hand and his other in his pocket.

"Soul. I need to see Lord Death." I say trying to pry his grip off of me but instead got stronger. "Soul. Your hurting me." I say sounding like Crona. "Sorry." He mumbles and walks off. Maka comes out of nowhere and grabs Soul.

"Come on (Y/N). My father wants to see you." A voice said. I turn and see Kid. He motioned me to come. I nod. "Bye Black Star. Bye Tsubaki!" I say waving at them. They wave back smiling. I like them.

"(Y/N). Can I ask you something?" Kid says looking at me. "But you just did." I say joking. He playfully punches me in the shoulder. We laugh. "No. Seriously." He said sounding more serious. "Go ahead." I say smiling. He breathes in and out. "Okay. Lord Death doesn't really need to see you." He said.

"Then why did you pull me here?" I ask him. "I wanted to see you." He said sounding embarrassed. "Well You could've said you wanted to talk to me privately." I say shrugging. "I thought of saying that But I was afraid that Soul would hold you in his arms saying he doesn't want me to talk to you." Kid answers.

"Kid!" A voice yelled. Kid turns his head towards two girls. "Patty. Not now." He says with a tint of wanting to being alone with me. "Oh sorry Kid. Were we ruining the moment between you guys?" They say at the same time.

"No. Just leave me and her ALONE!" He slightly yells getting annoyed. The two girls back away with their hands up in defense.

"(Y/N). Do you like Soul?" He asks me. "Of course I do! He's one of my best friends!" I say smiling. He looks away then back at me. "No. I ment love." He said quietly.

"Oh. No. Why?" I say answering it easily. It was really hard to say that out loud. The truth is, I really do.love him. "Don't lie me (Y/N). You can tell me." He grumbled. I sigh. "Promise me you won't tell anyone." I whisper looking down. He nods. I jump on him.

"Your the best Kid! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I cheered hugging him. He hugs back at me.

~Kid's P.O.V~

"Your the best Kid! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" (Y/N) cheered hugging me. I hug her back happily. Then my smile drops. "Sh-she likes Soul......" I think. "Bye (Y/N). Sorry for making you miss 2nd period." I say letting go of her.

"It's okay Kid. You are one of my bestest friends after all." She says smiling and waving. "She is beautiful." I think smiling at the jumping (Y/N).
