I woke up on a hard surface. "W-what?" Amanda came in as gave me a cookie. "Morning! Why were you sleeping on your desk?" She asks eating another cookie. I shrugged and got up getting myself ready.
As I was blow drying my hair, Amanda walks in with an envelope. "This was in the mail for you." She said throwing the envelope at me and walking out. I turn off the the hairdryer and open the envelope.
"Is this another bill that she doesn't wanna pay again." I complain reading it.
Dear (Y/N)
We welcome you to DWMA. I school for meisters and weapons.
"How did they know I was a miester looking for a weapon partner?" I ask to myself.
We heard you lost your partner a year ago so we are helping you get another partner. School will start at seven. Pack your things because you will be living with a student at my school. His name is Soul Evens. See you tomorrow!

Wait. Is Lord Death really asking me to come to his school? And I am living with a person I don't even know? And it's a guy! What about Amanda? What am I going to tell her?
"Amanda!" I yell. She walks in leaning on the door. "What." She says.
"Read this. And I am going." I say giving her the letter. She sits on the edge of my bed reading it. When she was finished she smirked.
"What?" I say looking at her. "You WANT to live with this boy? You don't even know him. And who is this Lord Death?" She says crossing her arms.
"No I don't WANT to live with him. I just wanna be with my kind of people. And Lord Death is my master. You don't understand because you were not a miester." I explain.
I pack up and say my goodbyes to her. She starts to cry on my shoulder. "Oh (Y/N)! I-I'm gonna m-miss you!" She crys. I just pat her shoulder and walk out. "Bye!" I wave. I start to jump onto the roofs going to the school.
I reach the school and greeted with a hit in the face. "Wha-What the fuck?!" I yell at the person who hit me. I look up and see a kid with blue hair.
My eyes go wide. "Y- you're that kid from my last battle." I whisper pointing at him. He smiles then frowns. "I-I remember you. You were that girl with that big ass sword. And then that person died." He said. He helped me up. "The name's Black Star. The best star ever!" He yelled. I just giggle.
"I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you. I must say. Why did you hit me?" You ask shaking his hand.
"Oh. Sorry. Me and Soul were fighting." He said pointing to a white haired kid leaning on a wall.
My eyes go wide again. That's Soul? The one I'm living with? Lord Death comes through the door. "Ahh. (Y/N). Thank you for coming to this school. I see you met Black Star. Did you meet Soul?" He asks in that funny voice.
"Not technically." I answer. Soul walks over. "Who's this?" He says standing next to Lord Death. "She's a new student and a new person living with you." Lord Death says happily.
Soul's eyes went wide. "Since when was she living with me!? You didn't even tell me!" Soul yelled. I just stood there feeling like I killed someone he loved.
"Well Soul. You have to live with it. And her name is (Y/N) (Y/L/N)." Lord Death said pulling Soul off of him. "Maka! Come show our new student around the school!" Lord Death said looking behind him. Soul walks over to me and glares at me.
"Why are you living with me? I don't even know you." He glares at me again.
"I-I d-don't kno-ow. Lord Death said that for me in the letter." I stutter giving him the letter. He reads the letter with his eyes wide while I walk away. I hear him crumble up the paper and throw it. I catch it with one hand and throw it back at him. It hits him.
"Welcome to the school, (Y/N)" he mumbles. I turn back and smile at him.
