"You're almost there, sweetheart! Keep breathing!" Tyler said as he gripped my hand. I squeezed it as I pushed even more. "Tyler, I can't take it!" I cried as May wiped my forehead. "Yes, you can, Mikaela. You're so strong, and you can do this!" Tyler said while May got into position. "Just one mopre big push, Mikaela!" She said as Tyler kissed me on the temple. I screamed as I gave this final push all my effort, then I felt no more pain. I was panting breathlessly by the time I heard the sweet sound of a baby crying, until it was calmed down and softly cooing.

Three years after my recovery, Tyler and I decided to finally get married. We work as a team in assisting people around the country with our ninja skills. We make a very decent living out of it. "Oh my...." Sensei said as he entered the room. "Sensei, Mikaela gave birth to a beautiful baby girl." May said as she was gently cleaning the little one. I could feel tears of joy in my eyes as I saw the bundle in my friend's arms. "S-She's so beautiful." Tyler said with tears of his own as May gave her to him.

I could feel a great deal of joy flood my senses as Tyler lowered our baby to let me see such a beautiful baby girl. She definitely had my smile, and her daddy's eyes. "Tyler, she's perfect!" I said as I took her into my arms. She cooed as I held her closely. "You did an excellent job, Mikaela." Dad said as he came into the room. "Daddy!" I said happily when I saw him. Lats I checked, he and my brother were out of town on a special assignment. "My love, what name shall we give her?" Tyler asked as his hand gently stroked the baby's head. "Her name?" I asked as I looked up at him. When his eyes landed on me, I smiled. "Her name shall be Mira Shannon Honshu." I said as the little girl opened her eyes.

Because Tyler didn't want his family name to haunt us, he accepted our last name to escape his past. "That's absolutely perfect. Our little Mira." Tyler said before kissing Mira on the forehead, and she let out an adorable little giggle. I laughed sweetly as I let my dad hold his granddaughter. He smiled at her then at me. I smiled back at him, filled with pride and love for my daughter.

"You've made us proud, Mikaela. You've made me proud." Mother's voice echoed around me, and when I looked beside my dad, she was standing there. Clearly transparent since she's only a spirit, but she looked clearly happy as she admired Mira. She then looked at me with a loving smile. I couldn't help but cry slightly, but it was due to the joy I felt more than anything. "You okay?" Tyler asked when he noticed my tears. "I'm okay, sweetheart. I-I'm just so happy." I said as he hugged me. I leaned into him as I hugged back.

The dark chapters of my life, can finally be buried. I have a bright future to look forward to, new chapters to write, and new experiences to discover. With my husband and my daughter, and hopefully more children to come, I will enjoy my days to come.
