As I predicted, I arrived in the morning, of the day that the full moon. I left an incriminating note on the nightstand of the bedroom the man resides in, and I am eagerly waiting for the sun to go down. I watched, people going about in the shopping bazaar, kids playing games, couples kissing and giving gifts, birds flying by, and many other things occurring in the streets below as the time slowly evaded me. The seconds were flying faster than my heartbeat. I closed my eyes as I thought of the note I left.
To the Man Who Will Die This Night,
I doubt you remember me, but I'm pretty sure you remember my mother since you personally murdered her in front of me. You and I have some unfinished business, you dark emotionless bastard. It's time to end the war of Honshu and Kitsune once and for all. If you have any honor at all, come alone to a clearing in the forest behind your house, two miles southeast from your back door.
The final battle to determine who wins this war will be between you and me. I've waited for many years to get revenge for all my fallen comrades, and I'm sure you feel the same, if you ever cared for your clan. Whoever wins will not only prove that they truly deserve the Kihaku Katana, but they will ensure everlasting peace at long last. Face me, you heartless coward.
The True Heir of Niko Honshu
I smirked at the thoughts of what reactions that man would have to that note. His prideful ego would definitely be struck and he would be a fool to refuse a challenge to such an extent. Before I knew it, the sun was starting to set. The ultimate warning that I was time to go to the clearing. I stood up and ran through the streets, effortlessly gliding through the crowds as the sky continued to grow darker and darker. I easily ran around the home of the Kitsune Clan and into the forest. I eventually came upon the clearing I mentioned in the note, which I discovered long ago. The clearing was about the shape of an almost perfect circle with about 126 ft in diameter. Definitely a large enough clearing for a battle between two people. I leaned against a rather large spruce tree and counted the stars that began to appear. Once the moon came into view, I counted about 3,127 stars in my peripheral view. I felt my power surge as my brown hair turned a glimmering silver.
"So, you're the one that left that note for me." A male voice said as the leader of the Kitsune Clan entered the clearing. "Yes I am, Kai Kitsune. Now, we have unfinished business to put to a close." I said as I stepped out from the shadows that his me from his view. "A little girl? You must be joking." He said as he crossed his arms. "You call this a joke?" I asked as I unsheathed the katana, and his gaze turned into a glare of venomous hatred. He definitely looked like an older version of Tyler, so now I guess I understand where he gets his looks from. "Alright, that belongs to me." He said as he stepped forward, only for me to throw a throwing star next to his head, hitting the tree behind him, cutting off the tip of his earlobe. "I don't think so. I mentioned in my note that this blade would go to the victor of this battle." I said as I watched his blood drip down the side of his head and neck onto his shoulder. "Then let us begin." He said with a smirk as be unsheathed a blade of his own.
