Hello readers! Hope you're good?(tell me how you feel in the comment box I don't mind knowing y'all) Well, I'm Rihanat and I wrote this book with the help of my friends. I'll be forever grateful.

This is a story I've written. Took my time, but it's worth it❤️

*This book hasn't been well edited(but I want you to understand that we aren't perfect) You'll find some mistakes, but I'll try my possible best to correct them.

*I want to remind you that this story line wasn't copied from anywhere, I had to take pieces from my daily activities and my life story.

I'll appreciate if you help promote by inviting your friends.

I'm someone who appreciates books based on reality and possibilities and this is one of my major aims here.

I'm a young writer and I'll be glad if you take your eyes off the mistakes in this book and I'll try to update often. Don't forget to drop a comment and a vote. Thank you very much for choosing to read this book. Enjoy the journey❤️❤️❤️

"But she's now five Kate"! He yelled. "No David, don't speak like you own her, she's my baby and she'll be going nowhere with you".

"She's my daughter too, why can't I take her to go see her grandparents and families in Africa?"

"You're Nigerian and I'm American David, I don't care what your family thinks, my baby ain't going where I've never been".

I stood by the kitchen door and watched them argue.

"David, we had a divorce when she was only two years old. You abandoned us and now you think you can claim her"

The man in black suit slammed his fist on the table. "I abandoned you? Stop saying nonsense! You wanted me out of your lives... see, I don't want to talk about why we divorced, just please lemme talk to our daughter I'm sure she wants to see Africa".

"Africa my ass David, you hear me! Africa my fucking ass !! Get the hell out of our lives, we can survive without you!" Mom cried.

I held on my lollipop and Mr Philip my purple teddy bear, well, he was more than just a teddy bear.

Their argument went on for over forty minutes and after, he packed his belongings and left.

I knew him as the man in black suit and that was the last time I saw Him, my dad.
