Remus didn't talk to James, Sirius and Peter for the rest of the year, and spent a lot of time with Lily Evans, Diana Padmore and Lara Chang, even Snape because he felt bad about what he almost did to him.
Going home Sirius for the first time since he started school felt eager to go home and stay away from all the drama that happened that year, but when he arrived he was greeted by a punishment. Somehow, probably through his cousins, his mom had found out what had happened with Snivellus.
"Sirius Black how could you get a poor little Slytherin boy get almost killed by a monster, how did they even allow such a monster into Hogwarts, why would you befriend such a dire creature, you have disgraced this family even more than you already had, thank Merlin for Reglus who is the son that you couldn't be" His mother said sending him to his room.
After that he just spent his days from the kitchen to his room and back, he didn't even call Kreacher, he hated that stupid old elf, he was sure everyone in the house hated him except for Regulus, but Sirius just couldn't stand to be next to him and clearly the elf felt the same way so he just preferred to avoid him. One day still he appeared in his room.
"Master Sirius" he said with clear disdain in his voice
"Mistress Walburga wishes to see you in the drawing room in this very moment" the elf said
"I'll go in a moment Kreacher, now you can go and keep doing whatever it is you're doing" Sirius said
The elf apparated away as Sirius stood from his bed and went downstairs to the drawing room to find both of his parents waiting for him.
"Sit down Sirius" his dad said.
"We are going to Malfoy Manor for a couple of weeks, before school starts, to accompany your cousin Narcissa and because we are going to meet some people there" His mother said.
"you mean the kind of people that Bella hangs out with and Lucius wants to join, you mean the followers of Vol.."Sirius asked
"yes, some of them are really respectable wizards, we of course would love to take you with us but you're grounded and you don't exactly put our family in a high reputation" his father said.
"is not like I would like to go either" Sirius said.
"But we can't leave you alone in this house either, it would be a disaster by the time we come back, so just for the rest of this summer we are allowing you to go to the house of one of your friends, just not the monster one obviously" his mother said.
"Really mom?!" Sirius said with a squeal
"yes, go pack your things and write to your friend before we change our minds" His mother said once again.
Immediately Sirius went upstairs to his room and picked some ink, quill and parchment.
Dear Prongs
I am writing to you because my parents are leaving with Regulus to spend the rest of the summer with the Malfoys and some deatheaters, but because they are mad at me for the whole incident with Snivellus, they won't take me with them, and they don't trust me alone in the house either but they probably drunk to much Fire Wiskey and have allowed me to go to a friend's house, so I have chosen to go to your house, hopefully your parent's will take me.
