Diana was talking to Lily about another of her magical theory classes, one that talked about the dark arts and their origin, how it originated from extremely negative emotions, desires and actions like the unforgivable curses. While there was also the Light Arts that requierd also an extreme amount of positve emotions like for Patronuses and Love magic. Lily's face turned somber.
"What is wrong Lily? is it something I said?" Diana asked
"Sort of, is just I worry about Severus, has been more and more drawn into dark magic lately, he would spend a lot of time with that Avery kid and Lucius Malfoy, and he sometimes tells me about meeting and he arrives late or is distracted, and with what you just told me about dark magic, I can't help but feeling that he is falling into a hole and I can't rescue him" Lily said.
"But even if Severus is slightly interested in dark magic and that he spends some time with his housemates, I can tell he cares a lot about you, and that will keep him from ever fully falling down that dark path, believe me you are keeping him from being just like them" Diana reasured her.
"Says the girl who was disowned by that kind of people" Lily said.
"yes, and when I was disowned, I felt lost and without a purpose, but I got people who helped me, who hwld me up, Andromeda, Sturgis and my parents, even Sirius and you. I think you can hold Severus up" Diana said.
"you think so? it seems like a lot of work for me alone, specially if everyone else tries to bring him down, his housemates, that stupid git James and his friends with their stupid pranks" Lily said.
"I know you can, in magical theory they also told us that a positive emotion is capable of neutralize the bad, as positive emotions tend to be stronger, and the love and apreciation he feels for you can neutralize him to keep him for going dark completely" Diana.
"oh Diana that hat knew what it was doing when it put you in Ravenclaw" Lily said.

Regulus was preparing for his Quidditch practice as Cassia came in
"Hey Reg, I have good news" she said
"really what is it Cass? you got the Carrows to teach you how to do proper curses" Regulus said
"wow, the funny from your brother is really sticking and it doessn't suit you at all, luckily for you, you won't have to spend christmas holidays with him"
"why not?"
"because you will spend them with me at my family's house in France, but you have to be careful, and my family and i decided that we trust you enough"
"what does that mean Cass?"
"so, you know how my great aunt Vinda used to be the right hand of Grindlewald right?" Cassia said.
Grindlewald had been a great dark wizard and while his reign had barely touched britain it was said great british wizards fought against him, Cassia's great aunt Vinda was his most loyal follower.
"yeah so?"he said
" In order to hide her from the authorities, my family decided to place our house under a fidelius charm, and Vindi has lived there ever since, every now and then we prepare polyjuice potion from an unsuspecting muggle so she can go outside, but not too far away from the house" Cassia said
Regulus couldn't help but to feel slightly terrified, he knew of legends about the Rossiers some said they were descendants of Herpo the Fowl, others that they were descendants of Morgana and that dark magic was a common practice in the family and everyone who refused to do it was disowned, he didn't know of the lengths they went to to protect themselves.
"oh that's interesting but I'm sure my mom would let me go"
