During the next months the two groups of friends hanged out together more often, and slowly became one,as in classes they would spend more time together, as a Quidditch match between Griffindor and Slytherin.
Before the match began Severus went towards Lily to apologize once again
"Lily please, I know you're still mad at me but being friends with Potter and his gang are you crazy? you give him a chance but not me" Severus said
"Sev, at least James has made an effort to make himself worthy of me giving him that chance, he has changed, for once he just offered me his friendship and didn't try a move on me and he has reduced his pranks to a minimum of really funny ones, what have you done Sev, you keep practicing dark arts, you keep bullying other students, specially those who are muggleborns just as me, if you think I will forgive you after that then you're wrong" Lily said.
"So it is James now? and if not like I didn't do that before" Severus said
"you're unveliabable Severus don't you see that's the point, you aren't making the effort to be a person I want to be friends with Severus, I actually thank James for doing what he did, it opened my eyes to the person you've become, not the nice little kid who told me I was a witch while I was jumping rope with my sister, but an arse who doesn't want people like me to be witches and wizards" Lily spat.
Severus face turned sour and sad as if he was about to cry when Amycus Carrow came in. He had lost a year.
"What are you doing little mudblood making Snapey cry? wasn't it enough feeding him lies and making him a softy for 5 years enough" Amycus yelled
"Oh really? she fed him lies or you did, just as you fed me lies for 11 years" Diana said
"Little blood traitor, even after you were expelled I suspected you would find yourself in better company" Amycus said
"Being expelled allowed me to have the best company I could possibly have, real friends, a real passion and a real family" Diana said
Amycus proceded to cast fiery ropes on both of the girls, as Sirius and James came in to defend the girls. Throwing their very succesfull itchy-burning potion that they used for their pranks onto Amycus and Severus. The guys ran away screaming as they freed them from the curse.
"thanks for that" Lily said.
"Are you girls ok?" James asked
"yeah, but will you be ok? when Amycus washes that potion off, he is going to come after you" Diana said.
"we don't worry about that so much, that was mixed with magic paint, it won't be that easy to wash off" Sirius said laughing.
"well don't you have a match to win? " Lily said
"Yes we do, will you be rooting for us" James said
"Of course" Lily said
"I will dedicate this game to you" James said as Lily blushed slightly.

After a roaring win there was a party in the common room that afternoon
But Sirius wasn't as happy as he seemed, during the game Regulus was distracted, and looking really sad, maybe leaving his family had been selfish, as now his brother had more pressure than ever to represent the family's name, he wished he could talk to him, but Regulus wouldn't listen, he shoved him away the moment he sptepped out of the house like everyone else.
Diana came over to him, Lily had let her into the common room.
"Hey Sirius want to talk? for some reason you aren't in that much of a festive mood as everyone else, you guys did a great job" Diana said.
"I know Di, is just that I worry about my brother, he seemed off during the game, I know I was disowned and that he probably won't talk to me about it, but that doesn't stop me for caring about him" Sirius said
"maybe you should go talk to him, I don't know Regulus very well, but he doesn't seem as much of an arse as my former cousins, maybe he will at least allow you to talk to him, and deep down he may listen" Diana said.
Following Diana's advice Sirius went to the Quidditch field where Regulus was still flying in his broom
"Sirius? what are you doing here? I thought you would be celebrating with the rest of your house" Regulus said when he saw him.
"Reg, I noticed something was wrong with you during the game, and I wanted to check on you, I may have left the house and I know I've been disowned, you knew that was bound that happen one day or another, I was actually surprised I wasn't disowned the moment I got sorted into Griffindor, but I still care about you Regulus, we grew up together and no burnmark on a wall will ever change that" Sirius said.
"You didn't get disowned back then because I begged mom not to do it, you and Kreacher are the only people in that house that I talked to, I wouldn't have afforded loose any of them for nothing in the world" Regulus said
"I didn't know that, I'm so sorry Reg" sirius said with a sad tone.
"It's ok Siri, as time passed I realized you didn't really belong in the house, and when you left it was better for both of us" Regulus said.
"Then why are you like this why didn't you pay attention in the game? if you had caught the snitch maybe there would be a party in your common room and not mine" Sirius asked
"it has to do with Cassia, she has been talking a lot lately about joining the deatheaters" Regulus said.
" But you're just 14, even Bella didn't join till she was 16, I know because of what I did you must have a lot of pressure to join, but this is too dangerous, does Cassia really want to do this now?" Sirius asked once again.
"She is special, her family is special, I can't tell you what I saw in their house, because she asked me not to, but if I am honest, it scares me, Siri, but I can't tell that to mom, she is sad enough after what happened with you and Andi" Regulus said
"But you aren't betraying the family, or their beliefs, you just don't want to be with Cassia"
"Says the kid who made an elaborate ploy to not be with his pair on his train ride"
"and that didn't work for me anyway, because she got disnowned and mom wanted me to marry a Carrow no matter what"
"and because you still fell for her anyway"
"what?!"
"you weren't the only one looking out for details during the game, I saw the way you looked at her"
Sirius turned red for a moment.
"I know you want to help me, but there is not much you can do"
"Maybe you can just not join them, before she got married, Andi told me he was a monster, and as much as I know you want to keep the family alive you don't have to join him in order to make mom proud"
"But I have to, Siri I have to show mom I will do anything to protect the family just as Bella did, just as you failed to do"
"look at what happened to Bella, she has turned crazy, when people join him, they seem to have this crazy devotion for him, is not a revolution, is a cult"
"Siri you don't have to say that just because you don't agree with it"
"I tell you this because I'm worried"
"don't be, I'll be fine"
"Just promise me you'll at least wait till you can take more care of yourself"
They both left the field and didn't talk again.
