Izzy's P.O.V.

Kaycee left at around 4 o'clock this afternoon to go back to her house.
It's been me and Willow since then.

But, I keep thinking about my mom and that letter...
Why did she leave me?
Did I do something?
I just don't know.
I try not to think too hard about it because every time I do, I start to cry.

Chris should be here pretty soon. It's about 10:50 right now.
Honestly, I'm not sure what he's going to do about this whole situation.
I'm so worried and I'm not sure if I should be.
Chris said he'd handle it... But will he?

Finally there's a knock on the door.
Willow barks and I walk over and unlock it.
I open it up and I see Chris.
Almost instinctively, I wrap my arms around him. Chris holds me tightly and carries me inside. He sets me down on the couch and he sits down next to me.
"I missed you so much." There's such a gentleness in his eyes when he speaks.
"I missed you too." I say wiping away a tear.
"You know I never left you right?" Chris asks awaiting an answer.
As he's looking down at me I feel so small... And with good reason too-He's so much bigger than me and a whole foot taller.
"I always thought you did... Until I realized mom was manipulating me." I reply honestly.
"I would never leave you. I tried to have you live with me while mom straightened herself out, but she wouldn't let me have you. She blocked my calls and wouldn't let me see you." Chris says with his blue eyes turning a deeper, darker shade.
"I missed you... A lot." I repeat.
"I know. I missed you too, baby." He says.
"I don't know what to do." I cry.
Chris pulls me towards him and I rest my head on his chest.
"I'll tell you what you can do. Alright?" He comforts me.
"You can come live with me in Los Angeles. You can bring Willow and everything else you want."
Suddenly I stop crying.
"Really?" I sniffle.
"Really really." He replies.
"Yay!" I say excitedly.
"You can pack your stuff tomorrow-and I'll help of course. Then we'll ship it... And you, me, and Willow will take the soonest flight back to my house." He smiles.
"Yay!" I repeat myself.
"But, I want you to get to bed now, okay? It's been a long day today and you need to sleep." Chris says.
We walk up the stairs into my bedroom and he tucks me in.
"Good night Izzy. I love you.", he whispers and then kisses my head.
"I'll be in the living room making some phone calls if you need me.", he says and then turns out the light and heads down the stairs.
